Is it possible?
Thanks.

Unfortunately not. You can open a CSV file containing exported sticky notes in Excel and copy & paste from that into a Miro board to create sticky notes, but that’s it. Any other content (e.g. shapes, cards) wouldn’t be imported in that manner.

It's very frustrating that you can't backup boards on the free plan. We are a small team that is not yet ready for additional costs. On the other hand, losing all the information accumulated in Miro would be a disaster.
I thought there was an option to use csv export-import as an alternative. But... Okay :(
Two years later -- is this still impossible?
I am asking because very many presentations are translated, and the best way to translate is to export the original text and then import the translation. Many tools do that.
If you develop an online board which does not have this feature, then all your buzz on the front page is meaningless, you are behind the simplest presentation packages.
Where’s the dislike button? Missing too?
Hi
I understand your frustration, and thank you for sharing this perspective. Currently, CSV import options in Miro are indeed limited to importing specific items, like sticky notes, but don’t allow full board restoration or broader content import. While Miro’s development team continuously considers feature requests, feedback like yours helps highlight user needs and priorities. I encourage you to submit your specific use case through the Miro Wish List or add to the relevant feature request posts in the community, where our product team regularly reviews suggestions.
Thank you again, and I appreciate your patience as we work on evolving the platform!

I already told you why you must introduce the must-have feature. If this is not enough for your organization, and you want me to do it again, in a specific manner, then you are not competitive. I am wasting no more time on this.
Hi
I understand that it's frustrating when a feature you need isn’t yet available. I see your feedback is coming from a place of wanting to improve the platform, and we thank you for that.
To make sure your specific use case is seen by our development team, it’s best to add it to the Wishlist section of the community. That’s where our team regularly reviews feature requests, and adding your request there helps ensure it's on their radar.
Your patience and feedback mean a lot as we work to improve Miro’s capabilities. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts!
