Hello everyone!

I am a trainer and coach and I would like to start using Miro for my courses in Virtual Room with the Zoom platform and also taking advantage of the Zoom Breakout rooms mechanisms.

I just took a first look at Miro and therefore I don't know it at all yet: could you suggest me some useful resources to start with to better understand how it works?

Thanks!

Greetings from a desperate beginner! :joy:

Not sure if this what you are looking for but I found that if my participants aren’t familiar with Miro, it is hard to get to the interactive activities.  I found Kim Howe’s introduction very effective to increase participant familiarity. https://miro.com/miroverse/category/fun-and-games/welcome-to-miro/

You could also get a lot of ideas on what you can do with Miro from that.  I tweaked it on my own board for activities I wanted to perform (stickies, voting, tagging emojies, etc.)

@Alessandra Filippetti - I am just going to give a shameless plug for my Getting to Know Miro board - there are a number of links to help articles under each frame, as well as a summary of resources at the end of the board :grinning:

Hi Stephen,

Thank you very much!

well, actually I don't even know what I'm looking for! :joy: I would say anything that can make me understand what Miro's logic is, how to use it to make my courses more interactive and engaging.

The link you pointed out to me certainly seems useful and so I'll start right there.

Thanks again! I'll keep you updated ...

Thanks Robert,

perfect, it seems very useful.

Do you use this board to instruct your students on how to use Miro? Really very interesting.

I'll try to see your board and keep you updated ...

@Alessandra Filippetti

I do. And my board is probably aimed a little more towards those who really want to learn Miro, not just know how to use it for a basic collaboration session.

Of course, in fact I find it very interesting. I'll let you know as soon as I can see it well

@Alessandra Filippetti - Here’s a great overview of a number of Miro features - even after using Miro for over three years, I picked up a few new tips
