Google Integration - Can't Sign In to Google to edit docs when using the App
I have google Drive integrated with my Team group and boards. I have added docs and sheets to a board and I can edit those documents when using Miro in a browser, but not when using the App. I can open the google doc in the App, but I am only a viewer unless I sign in. But the Sign In button won't work. It turns from blue to a lighter shade of blue and nothing else happens.
Has anyone else had this issue and resolved it?

Hi @Brian Fulghum,
Thanks for sharing! We’ve converted your post into a ticket because this particular case requires further investigation. Rest assured soon you will be approached by Customer Support Team!
Was there a solution to this?
I am having a similar issue, I’ve embeded a document on my board but I can’t see anything except a “sign in to see the content”. When I press the log in button it just takes me to the google document where I am signed in already.
It’s fully working on the browser but I am using the Desktop app.
Appreciate any help!
Hi @Bengt Månsson,
Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like the same issue mentioned earlier—Google Docs integration works in the browser but not in the desktop app.
A few things you can try: Ensure your Miro app is updated to the latest version. Try signing out and back into Miro on the desktop app. Check if pop-ups are being blocked—sometimes the login process requires an external authentication window. Test in the browser to confirm it’s specific to the app (which it sounds like it is).
If the issue persists, I recommend reporting it to Miro Support here, as they can investigate further. Let me know if any of these steps help!
