Hi, I've tried the 'Share as presentation' export method in Miro.

My question is, what is the function of the 'Copy link' button?
I clicked it and received different links for each frame, but they still direct me to the first frame. I was really hoping it would take me directly to a specific frame.

This would help us understand how each link behaves and determine if it should indeed direct to a specific frame as expected. While I don’t have the same Copy link action that you do and therefore cannot see what the link looks like, if the frame ID is present in the link, you could use the Copy link action to get the ID of the frame you want to start with, and try swapping the frame IDs in the link.

The frame id not present when i click Copy Link ​​​​​​, just get Share ID. But when i click Copy Link from frame 1 or 2, i got different share id.

Looking at the URL, I see the parameter ‘shareablePresentation=1’, but, as you noted, no frame ID. So, I looked at the URL generated when you select embed code for the board, and to start in Presentation mode, and the parameters are:

  1. pres=1
  2. frameId=#############

So, I added frameId to the board URL with the shareablePresentation parameter, but that didn’t have the desired afffect.

So… I used the embed URL and changed the Frame ID to the one I wanted to start at, and that works – although not perfectly, as there is a banner at the bottom.

Here is an example that will start at Frame 2 on my test board (that has two frames: Frame 1 and Frame 2):

Parameters to add after the board ID:

  1. pres=1
  2. frameId=######## (replace hash/pounds chars with frame ID acquired from “Copy link”
  3. embedId=1 (note: you may need to generate your own embedId by generating an embed code link from the boards share settings → Embed (and select the Presentation tab):
