When Screen sharing content with my clients and live entering data, the formatting tool bar is constantly on top of the surrounding items. For instance I select an item to talk about it or to edit it type and immediately the content above it is obscured by the toolbar (image). Is there a way to move it or dock it?

None that I have ever encountered. My workaround is a quick zoom in or out using my mouse wheel, which causes the floating context bar to be in a different location.
