Newbie question here.  I would like to know if it is possible to change a selected shape in Miro, e.g. edit a current step in a process flow which uses a Preparation flowchart shape and change it to a Decision flowchart shape?  Thanks so much.

@Emer Jennings -

Unlike the Basic shapes (e.g. circles, rectangles) which enable you to transform them by clicking the left-most icon in the pop-up toolbar when you select them, the other drawing shape libraries don’t have this feature. As such, you’d need to create the Decision shape on the board, delete the Preparation one and drag the Decision one into its place and link it up.

Hopefully the Miro team has this enhancement on their radar. Process flow diagrams are constantly being reorganized beyond shifting arrows around. In Miro, changing a shape entails creating a new shape, copying/pasting verbiage from the old one into the new one, and then dealing with the connection lines that have to be re-worked. The current process is confusing (esp on complicated diagrams) and time-consuming.

@Emer Jennings / @Karen BellDeWitt - Miro does have it on their radar. To show your interest, please take a second to upvote my Wish List idea:
