Miro, there is literally no way to find this option. I need to downgrade my account to free.

@TonyTokenized - On the Billing page of your Starter Plan subscription there should be a Cancel subscription option:

More info on this here: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011986179-How-to-cancel-your-subscription

Downgrading to Free

And if your subscription has already been cancelled, you can downgrade by following these instructions:

https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408891948946-Downgrading-your-plan

“This board is locked”

If any of your boards were made private while they were in your Starter Plan, you may receive a note that “This board is locked”. You can unlock it by following these steps:

Robert, thanks for the quick answer and for the help!

To downgrade your Miro account to free, log in to your account and navigate to the "Billing" section in your profile settings. Look for the option to change your plan or subscription type. Select the free plan and follow the prompts to confirm the change.

Miro team - trying to downgrade to free from starter and my screen doesn’t look like the screenshots you provide.

Please let me know how to downgrade before we get charged. thank you

Hi @Mary Martin

Here’s a short video demonstrating the cancellation process.

If your settings is not showing up the same details, could you please share a screenshot of your view?

Hi Eca, thanks so much for this. My billing screen is the same except for the button at the bottom, which says “Reactivate Trial” instead of “Cancel Subscription.”

Can you please advise?

Thanks

@Mary Martin - Re this Reactivate trial link:

Did you already try to make some changes? E.g., did the link used to be “Cancel trial” and you selected Downgrade to Starter plan? If so, you may be able to Reactivate the trial and then cancel and downgrade to free. However, even I am confused by the path to just “cancel” and go back to a Free plan.

Since you are currently on a paid subscription, you can open a support ticket and ask the billing support team to take care of this for you.

You can open a Miro support ticket by following these instructions:

Note: For Billing related questions, after you have selected Contact support from the Learning Center, select Billing & Subscription → Billing & Payments / Other.

How to access the support form:

Hi Robert - reactivating and going back through the cancellation process worked. Thank you!

@Mary Martin - You’re brave for clicking all the things I may have been too nervous to click! Glad to hear it worked!
