Disable editing of boards in Confluence embedding

When I choose “Can view”, I expect that I can’t edit the embedded board. However, I can edit the board. The embedding is too small and clumsy that people are bound to accidentally edit boards.

Ah, can someone move this to “Wish list” section?

@omena - If you are the board owner, I believe that you will always be able to edit the board no matter how you are accessing it. You may need to either lock board content, or make additional board Share settings changes.

If you are not the board owner, please share some additional details, e.g., your Miro plan type, your Miro role (team member, admin), board-level role (owner, editor), so that the Community can share other suggestions.

You may want to review the following help center articles for further insights into how boards will behave when embedded in supported apps:

And if you are aware of everything I have mentioned and still just want this post moved to the Wish List category, lete know and I will move it 🙂

@Robert Johnson - Thank you. I’m the owner. This is a strange UI/UX.

Anyway, can we have a complete view-only integration because the integrated UI invites accidental edits?

@omena - I do see an existing Wish List post to request a “view only” mode for editors. Perhaps you would like to upvote that idea, and copy-paste your original post there as an additional use case for this feature?
