When I save a Miro board to Google Drive it saves to my personal Google Drive. I want to save it to a Shared Drive. Is this possible?
I moved the file that Miro saved to my drive manually to the shared drive but that seems to sever the connection with the Miro board. It can’t open the Miro board after the move to the shared drive.

@ijac - The Export to Google Drive is misleading as it does not export the board, just a link to the board:
Therefore you will likely just want to export the board as a .rtb and share it the way the works best for you.
Thanks for the reply. A link is just fine. When I move the link to a Shared Drive the link is severed. How do I add a link to a Shared Drive?
Do you mean a Shared folder in your Google Drive?
When I install the Google Drive app from the Miro Marketplace, I had to select the Google Account I wanted to connect to. Once I do this, the Miro board link will be saved to the root of my Google Drive - I cannot change this. From there, I moved the linked board file to a folder that I have shared with another Google Account user and when I double-click the Miro board link in that shared folder, I still get the prompt to choose an app (Miro is the only choice I am presented with):
I select “Miro” and the board opens.
I also tried logging in as a user that I shared the folder with and they can open the board too.
Can you details the steps you are taking? Again, by “shared drive” are you referring to a folder? And is this Google Account you are working with a corporately managed one?
No, not a shared folder. A shared drive. Yes my account is managed by the company I work for.
I have a team of 20 people
I created a Shared Drive as a central location to keep various types of documents. This way it isn’t tied to anyone’s personal account. I’d like to have links to Miro boards alongside the other documents.
So I installed Google Drive for Miro. I’m not using the Google Drive desktop app.
When I Save to Google Drive in my Miro board a link is placed in My Drive.
I manually moved the link to the Shared Drive
The first time I use the link, the Miro board opens with no problems.
Anytime after that, the link to the Miro board is broken. Below is the message I get. Trying again, as it suggests, doesn’t fix it.
I would like to have a link to a Miro board in a Shared Drive. Is this possible? Thanks.
Thanks for the detailed information. I suspect that once you move the link from outside of your own Google Drive, the link/permissions you authorized are broken.
For a definitive answer, I would suggest contacting Miro support:
