I was able to reproduced the same behavior on my end. I'll check with the team to see if this is expected behavior.

In the meantime, I recommend enabling the Team Invite Link.

You can share this link with the users you'd like to invite, and then approve their access requests in the Team Settings > Team Users tab.

I’ll follow up once I have more information on the bulk invite option!

I was able to resolve the issue. Turns out, it was a browser issue on my end which was resolved after I cleared cache. 

Here are the screenshots on how I invited new members to the team in bulk from excel.

1. Copied the emails from excel

   

2. invite new members

   

3. Paste the emails in the invite user tab > Send invitation

   

Could you please try the steps as well and see if this helps.
