board is not being view only automatically.

Hi 

Can someone help me on creating or duplicating a board? Usually, I would just copy the latest board. Normally, 3rd board is automatically a view only one but this time its showing last 3 is open, therefore it does not allowing me to create/duplicate a new one. I dont need the 3rd one but its just not being view only.

​@Md Talukder  Are you on the Free plan? If not, which plan are you on?

For other readers: the Free plan has historically allowed unlimited boards, but only the three most recently created are editable — older ones lock to view-only. The usual scenario:

1. You're on the Free plan with three boards, all editable.

2. You create a fourth board — one of the original three automatically flips to view-only.

3. To edit that view-only board without deleting anything, you duplicate it — the duplicate takes an editable slot.

From this post from last week it appears that Miro has applied further restrictions to the free plan to only allow three boards in total. I tested this change myself in a free plan that I have and I was not able to create more than three boards. However, I didn't try to duplicate a board.

    ​@Robert Johnson Thank you for the reply. I am on free plan. I agree with what you are saying about having 3 editable board and others being “View only”. 

    I have been using it that way. Once I needed a 4th board- I have just copied/duplicated one of the last 3. It was fine until this morning. Now every time I am trying to create the 4th 1, its telling me to upgrade!!
