Hello Miro Community Team! I am a Polish language teacher at the Leoling language school in Lviv, Ukraine. Unfortunately, our school does not provide teachers with educational email accounts (we do not have a .edu domain), so I have to use my personal Gmail address for work. The standard application form doesn't let me proceed with a Gmail domain. Could you please convert my request into a support ticket for manual verification so I can submit my proof of employment? Thank you!

My school email account has been deactivated, so I can no longer receive the verification codes needed to access my Miro account.  I’m hoping to recover or transfer my boards to a new email account.Could someone please help create a ticket for this? Thank you!

I have a free account with two boards. it says I have reached the 3 board limit and one of my boards have changed to “view only”. I invited a team member to one of my board yesterday. is this somehow related?

Dear Miro Support Team,My name is Victoria, and I am an English teacher from Ukraine. I regularly use Miro to create interactive lesson materials and work with my students.I recently learned that Miro has been providing free subscription access or special support to Ukrainian users and educators due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.I would like to kindly ask whether I could receive the same support and have access to a paid Miro subscription free of charge.Miro is an important part of my teaching practice, and free access would be a great help to me as a Ukrainian teacher. I would be happy to provide any documents or other information needed to confirm that I am a teacher from Ukraine.Thank you very much for your support of Ukrainian users and educators.I would really appreciate your consideration.Kind regards,Victoria

Hello Miro Team and Community,I am a student and language teacher from Ukraine. I actively use Miro for my educational materials, study projects, and lesson planning.Due to the current situation in Ukraine, I am reaching out to ask if it would be possible to get access to a free plan with unlimited boards (or an Education/Pro plan) to support my studies and work.Thank you so much for your support!Best regards,Tania

Dear Miro Support Team, My name is Lesia Vashchyshyna, and I am an online mathematics teacher writing to you from Ukraine. I am currently teaching math to Ukrainian students online. Due to the ongoing war and difficult circumstances in our country, I am no longer employed at an offline school and do not have access to an institutional corporate email (like .edu.ua). I work independently to ensure that children can continue their education, maintain their routine, and learn math despite the constant challenges we face here. Miro is the absolute best platform for my math lessons. The infinite canvas, smart shape drawing, and equation tools are vital for explaining complex geometric problems and formulas to my students. Since I do not fit into the standard automated Education Plan application form without a school email, I am reaching out to you directly. Could you please consider my situation and grant my account (vashchyshyna.lesia@gmail.com) access to the Miro Education Plan? Thank you

Looks like lots of users are asking for DARK MODE, for at least FOUR YEARS.So - why haven’t you responded?

Hi,I have an existing Miro account that currently has access to a board shared with me by another user. The team shown in my dashboard is called “ENGLISH TUTOR”, but Miro explicitly shows:“You're not a member of this team.”I would now like to create my own independent Free team/workspace using this same Miro account.According to the Miro Free Plan documentation, a user should be able to create their own Free team as long as they are not a member of another Miro team. However, when I open the team/organization selector, the only available option is “Add organization”, which redirects me to selecting a paid plan. I cannot find any option to create my first Free team.I do not want to create another Miro account, and I do not want to join the “ENGLISH TUTOR” team. I only want to create my own Free team under my existing account.Could you please check my account state and either:explain how I can create my first Free team with this account, or correct the account state if the existing guest a

Using the login link from the automatic email is extremely inconvenient, especially when working across different computers, as I have to go through the email login process every time before I can access Miro.

However, I am not sure how to activate it or which steps I need to follow.Could you please help me apply for the free Education Plan and let me know if you need any proof of my teaching activity?Thank you very much for your help!Kind regards,Anastasiia

I’ve currently created a regular Miro account with my student email and have now found out there is an educational version for students. Should I delete my regular account and sign up for the student account or will it not work? I’ve tried it once in the past, but it did not work and it said “The allowed number of accounts is exceeded. Please use a different email address.” I’ve recovered my account now so should I try again, but after deleting wait a day or two so it doesn’t bug?

Hello Miro Community Team,I’m a Miro community member, and I recently noticed that my profile has been deactivated with the message: “Please contact your community admin.”I recently organized and successfully conducted a Miro event after putting significant effort into it, so I was quite surprised to see my profile deactivated without any prior communication.Could a Community Admin please review my account, clarify the reason for the deactivation, and help me with reactivation?I’d really appreciate the opportunity to continue contributing to the Miro Community.Thank you!

Is it possible to install the android miro app directly from the website? Not playstore. I'd like to install it on a Kindle Fire as the kids really enjoy using it for school work.

Dear Miro Team,My name is Anastasia, and I’m an English teacher from Kyiv, Ukraine.I’ve been teaching English for four years, and I’d really like to make my lessons more engaging and effective with your platform.I recently heard that Miro has generously been supporting Ukrainian users and that there may be an opportunity for Ukrainian users to have their plans upgraded for free. I am trying to regain access to an existing Miro account that was created through my former institution’s SSO.I have graduated, so I can no longer authenticate through that SSO. Because of this, I cannot sign in to Miro or access my profile settings to change the email address myself.I have already contacted the institution’s IT team. They have confirmed that they can authorize the migration of my existing Miro account to my personal email address and have asked Miro to contact them directly if authorization is required.I have submitted the issue through Miro’s support form, but I only receive automated AI responses that don’t help me.What I need is for a Miro support agent to manually handle the migration and contact the institution’s IT representative for authorization. For privacy, I am not sharing any institutional or personal contact details publicly, but I can provide them privately to a Miro staff member.Could a Miro staff member please help escalate this to the appropriate suppo

Dear Miro Support Team,I am writing regarding an urgent issue with my account. My team and all boards within it were deleted without any action from me or my colleagues. I was the owner of the team and the boards, and I did not initiate any deletion. I understand that Miro has been applying sanctions-related restrictions for users in Russia. However, I did not receive any prior notification about the deletion of my team or boards, and I was not given an opportunity to export or back up my data.I kindly request that you:Check the deletion logs for my team and confirm whether it was deleted by Miro as part of sanctions enforcement. Restore my team and all boards from the trash, if they are still within the 90-day recovery window. If restoration is not possible, provide me with an export or backup of my board data so I can recover my work. These boards contain important data that I cannot afford to lose. I would appreciate a prompt response and any assistance you can provide.Thank you for y

Hello! I work at an agency where we create boards and invite clients to them as Guests so they’re able to comment or edit (depending on what we want them to have per board). Despite them being added as Guests, as an Admin, I often get requests from clients to join our Team. We upgraded to the Business plan last year to get this Guest functionality but I’m finding a flaw.  When an existing Guest on a Business plan clicks “Ask to join team” while viewing a board, does Miro retain the originating board ID anywhere? If so, can a Company Admin access that information through Support, the API, or another Business-plan admin tool? It’s difficult to figure out what board the client is trying to access when we can have multiple per client at a time. I wish this button would be inaccessible to Guests because otherwise, what’s the point of the Guest seat if they can just click a button requesting to join as a full Team member?

My name is Diana, and I am writing to kindly request access to Miro’s free plan for Ukrainian users affected by the war. I have been working in the marketing field for several years, and Miro has become an essential tool for my daily work — from brainstorming sessions and customer journey mapping to collaborative workshops and strategy planning.Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, my financial situation has become increasingly difficult, and affording a paid subscription at this time is a significant challenge. Miro remains the most convenient and efficient platform for my professional needs, and I would be deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue using it free under your humanitarian support program for Ukrainians.Thank you very much for your time and for supporting the Ukrainian community during this difficult period.

Dear Miro Team,My name is Sofiia and  I work as an English tutor in Ukraine. I’m writing to ask if it would be possible to receive free access to an upgraded Miro plan.I really love using Miro and have found it incredibly useful for organizing my ideas, planning, and creating interactive boards. It has become one of my favorite tools to use, and I truly appreciate how intuitive and convenient the platform is.At the moment, I would really benefit from having access to the additional features available in the upgraded plan. As a student, however, I don’t currently have a stable income, so paying for a subscription is difficult for me.I would be very grateful if you could consider providing me with free access or an upgrade, even for a limited period. I would genuinely appreciate the opportunity to continue using Miro to its full potential.Thank you for creating such a great and helpful platform, and for taking the time to consider my request.Best regards,Sofiia
