Locked out of SSO account after graduation, need help with account migration

I am trying to regain access to an existing Miro account that was created through my former institution’s SSO.

I have graduated, so I can no longer authenticate through that SSO. Because of this, I cannot sign in to Miro or access my profile settings to change the email address myself.

I have already contacted the institution’s IT team. They have confirmed that they can authorize the migration of my existing Miro account to my personal email address and have asked Miro to contact them directly if authorization is required.

I have submitted the issue through Miro’s support form, but I only receive automated AI responses that don’t help me.

What I need is for a Miro support agent to manually handle the migration and contact the institution’s IT representative for authorization.

For privacy, I am not sharing any institutional or personal contact details publicly, but I can provide them privately to a Miro staff member.

Could a Miro staff member please help escalate this to the appropriate support team?

Hi @polatkb Thanks for providing the details. Since this involves regaining access to an account connected to your former institution’s SSO and changing the account email, this will need to be reviewed by our Support team.

I have your case converted to a support ticket. You should receive a response shortly.
