I work at an agency where we create boards and invite clients to them as Guests so they’re able to comment or edit (depending on what we want them to have per board). Despite them being added as Guests, as an Admin, I often get requests from clients to join our Team. We upgraded to the Business plan last year to get this Guest functionality but I’m finding a flaw.
When an existing Guest on a Business plan clicks “Ask to join team” while viewing a board, does Miro retain the originating board ID anywhere? If so, can a Company Admin access that information through Support, the API, or another Business-plan admin tool? It’s difficult to figure out what board the client is trying to access when we can have multiple per client at a time.
I wish this button would be inaccessible to Guests because otherwise, what’s the point of the Guest seat if they can just click a button requesting to join as a full Team member?
