It would be nice to be able to use the same shortcut for creating links (Cmd+K / Ctrl+K) universally in Miro. The shortcut Cmd+K already works for attaching URLs to an image or an object, but doesn’t yet work when linking out from a selection within a text block.

Suggestion: use Cmd+K also for text blocks.

Trigger “insert link” when pressing Cmd/Ctrl+K

The current user flow to create links is tied to moving the cursor and pressing on the “insert link” modal, which becomes tedious when needing to add multiple links.

Amen. Why is the keyboard shortcut for creating links not available in text boxes and Kanban cards? This omission slows down my work. Universal standard please? Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

Adding to the above, Please make key command (CMD+K) universal.
This would be a HUGE timesaver.
And, since it’s is already on the wishlist, wondering if it’s

  1. Feasible?
  2. Is there a timeline?

Specific areas where it does not work include:

  • Both grid cells and discretely text selected within
  • KANBAN: discretely selected text on card
  • Text boxes: discretely selected text in text boxes

Have a delightful day.
