Default hide cursors on boards

It would be great if we could set a board’s default to have cursors hidden because it’s always a bit daunting for my coworkers when they go in just to view a board and then quickly close it because they don’t like how there’s cursors showing. This is more so for a board that’s shared for ‘homework’ rather than a live workshop or webinar where a facilitator is available to instruct users on how to hide the cursors.

Was it helpful?

@amy hosotsuji - This is a great idea! I will had it to my list of items I would like to be able to configure at the board level:

And if you didn’t know, you can vote for your own ideas

It would also be great if individual users could decide whether to share their cursor location or not. Compare this with sharing your mic or webcam input in a web conference.

@Jeff Geurts - Agreed. I would also like to hide my status altogether sometimes, i.e., not have my avatar show up in the participants panel at the top-right corner of the board.

Yes! That too! This is so important.
