The single biggest missing feature for me in Miro (and Mural, Stormboard and other competitors) is I often want to facilitate a group activity where we each come up with a unique response to something (like a design challenge / problem / etc) and itโ€™s a problem if we can all see what each other are doing in that moment, because itโ€™s distracting and influences what we do. I see my teammates copying each other, perhaps because our societal culture encourages that so much, even since school.

I want an option on the timer to make only your own activity visible, until the timer is up - then your teammatesโ€™ work becomes visible. Alternatively, โ€˜private framesโ€™ inside which we can work - toggling on / off the contents from private / public on the board. So when itโ€™s private, the frame looks empty (or has text on it saying โ€˜contents currently visible only to Luke Fleggโ€™ - that could open up sooo many new use cases.

Was it helpful?
