Unable to edit board


My team and I have the problem that we all can't edit our created board. Neither the owner nor those who have editing rights (including me). The board is not locked, but it looks like it's only in perspective view (it doesn't respond when you click on it). It was also the case that you could access less and less content over time. It can't be the browser or our miro accounts (these are company accounts). Has anyone ever had a similar situation or does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

Hi ​@naeddelie1329, that sounds frustrating! Since the board isn’t locked but remains unresponsive, here are a few things you can try:

  • Check if the issue occurs in a different browser or the Miro app.
  • Try duplicating the board to see if the duplicate is editable.
  • If possible, ask another team member to change the board’s access settings and then revert them.

If none of these steps help, I recommend reaching out to Miro Support with details like error message, URL link, your set up, etc, so they can investigate further. Let me know if you notice any changes!

@naeddelie1329 - I ran into a scenario once where a board that was in edit mode, i.e., did not show as View-Only. In my scenario, inwas able to fix the board by changing its team share settings from Edit to View, and back to edit again.
