Sharing via a public link seems only possible for company admins on both, team and company level. While it is certainly correct to only allow company admins to set it on company level, I think it should be possible for team admins to do so on team level. After all, they can only do it when the company admin has allowed it on a higher level.

Was it helpful?

My company just migrated to Enterprise Plan, with 390 teams. For some reason Miro don’t let the Team Admins set their own Team’s “Board Sharing” permissions. When they go to that setting it just blank under the “Board Sharing” heading. This doesn’t make much sense, a Team admin should be able to change their teams settings.

This meant I, as a Company Admin, had to go through all 390 teams and change the “Anyone with the link - Can view, comment and edit” setting by hand…

Solutions:

  1. Allow team admins to change their own board sharing settings
  2. Have Company-level setting boarding sharing settings which can be applied to ALL teams at once (e.g. “Anyone with the link - Can view, comment and edit”).
