Miro nerd alert update: Board password feature showing up in my Android app, but cannot be managed here (yet). Nothing yet in my Windows 64-bit app.

Looking at your screenshot again, at the very top-left where it shows the team name of Sprint, I see there is a dropdown arrow, so you definitely have access to other teams. If there is another one that you know you created, if you switch to that one, at the bottom of the Team profile page, you should have two buttons:

I should also note that, even if you have created this team (you were at one time the Team Owner and first Team Admin), someone you invited to the team was at some point given Team Admin status (which may happen by default - I can’t remember), could then have changed your status to Member, at which point you can no longer rename or delete the team.

Correct. At the bottom of your screenshot, you only have a Leave team button, so you only have Member status. In order to rename the team, you would need to have Team Admin status.From that same screen, click on Active users and you will be able to see who is a Team Admin - they will be able to rename the team.

Text on Sticky notes not showing on Export

Thanks for sharing this, @Shane Scally. As soon as you mentioned exporting as ‘vector’, that does indicate you are on a paid plan. I had a look at the Plans and Features matrix and can’t see anything that leads me to believe there is some export limit by plan.While you may be hitting some technical limit (known or unknown), I would suggest reporting this to Miro support via Submit a request – Miro Support & Help Center.If you are pushing Miro to some limitation, this should be accounted for in the code, so that you are warned prior to the PDF being created.

Block delete

@Patrick Degenaar I had never considered this functionality before. I do see that when I draw a line with the pen tool, then switch to the eraser tool, and click-and-drag anywhere over the line, it disappears/deleted. If I needed to quickly delete a number of other objects on the board, it would be nice to use the eraser tool to do a quick click-and-drag over the item to delete it rather than click to select it and press [Delete] on the keyboard or to click the object’s menu and then the Delete option. I would suggest posting this as a Wish List item.In the meantime, when you say “there is no “block/select” tool”, you can [Ctrl] + click multiple items (or [Shift] + click-and-drag) to select multiple objects on a board and then just press the [Delete] key.

Sticky notes not moving with the board

@Julia Kopitina As far as I’m aware, this feature to “pin” a sticky (make it… sticky?) does not exist, but it would definitely be useful! I would suggest posting this idea as a Wish List item.Something I have done in the past to draw attention to an agenda/guidelines on a board, is to add the information to the board’s Notes pane. Then, to ensure it is always visible no matter where you are on the board, is to “pin” it:

Why is "save as PDF" and "save as image" not clickable? How can I save my concept map?

@Kate Campbell As I read this, my first thought was, yes, you are correct, there is no PDF or Image export of a board on the Free Plan. As I logged into my own Free Plan to test, I, too, noticed that Save as image and Save as PDF were greyed out/disabled/not clickable. So, I was going to suggest a few workarounds:If your concept map isn’t too big, just take a screenshot of your Miro board. You can also put a Frame around objects, then click the Frame’s menu and select Export as image:Note that on the Free Plan, you are limited to a small/low resolution export: As I tested this, I notice that, while the Save as image and Save as PDF options were disabled the first time I clicked on the export this board icon (to the right of board name), when I clicked on export icon again, the options were available to me - this may be a bug:Again, you’ll be limited to a small image (JPG) or PDF export.Here’s a full list of features that are/are not available with the Free Plan: https://help.miro.com/

I guess I do like resolving conflicts, negotiating with others, getting Information, etc. This is also very timely as I am right in the middle of career introspection, so I’ll add Ombudsman to my list!

Text on Sticky notes not showing on Export

@Shane Scally I just a really quick test and all text from my two stickies is appearing.Before:After Vector export:Can you provide an example of text from one sticky where this is happening? (the before and after text).Also,Which Miro app and OS platform is this happening on? e.g., Chrome browser on Windows 10? Are you able to recreate the issue from another combination of apps/platforms? How many stickies are in your frame?

@Mark Patterson Seeing as you used the wording “participate fully”, I will assume that these users whom you wish to remain anonymous will need to edit the board in some way. Because the Education Plan supports Guest Editors, you could do the following:From the board’s Share settings, enable Anyone with the link Can edit Note: This is, of course, where you need to exercise caution in how you share this URL as anyone with the URL will be able to edit the board. Send the URL to those whom should remain completely anonymous during your mediation session. **Most importantly for these individuals to remain anonymous** Instruct them to copy-and-paste this URL into a browser session to which they are not logged into a Miro account! If they do use the URL from a browser session they are signed into a Miro account, chances are good that it will show their name beside their cursor. @Marie.Stdenis If by 'on the right side' you mean the image is behind another object on the board, you can:1. tap the image2. tap the three vertical dots menu3. select Bring forward (or Send backward, if you want to move it behind).

@Rob Johnson I wonder if there’s a javascript issue or perhaps a scale issue, i have one canvas with more than 5000 sticky notes, and 5 people connected concurrently, given that this app is made in javascript and when it logs in starts to render and it takes a while to load, i was wondering if there’s a backend issue. I’m now using a VPN connected to NY and from that to Miro which makes it work kind of the same, so i wonder. Very interesting. You may take the prize for number of stickies on a board! Perhaps it is work reporting to the Support team as someone at Miro may wish to observe the board behavior themselves. @Norman Gan I have not noticed anything that I would attribute to Miro’s service being the culprit. The only times I have noticed any reductions in speed ever since I started using Miro over 2.5 years ago appeared to be the result browser memory/my laptop. To resolve this, I re-launched my browser. Alternatively, I sometimes use the Miro desktop app (not the ‘lite’ version that is in the Microsoft Store). The same behavior I have described applies to both the Free and Consultant plans I am a part of. I have no reason to believe that Miro throttles bandwidth for Free Plans, but this would be best confirmed by someone at Miro. @Marina: Any comment?The ex-technical support tech in me has so many questions, but this probably isn’t the forum for troubleshooting network related issues. Instead, if you haven’t already, I would suggest searching Miro’s Help Center.
