Request & Usability Issues: Zoom Sensitivity, Mouse Navigation, Default Text Styles

Hello Miro Team,

I am using Miro on Ubuntu 24.04 via the Vivaldi browser. I would like to report a few issues and share some Quality of Life (QoL) feature requests:

Mouse Scroll Zoom Sensitivity on Ubuntu:
Due to the lack of zoom sensitivity controls for boards, zooming with the scroll wheel on Ubuntu is far too aggressive compared to Windows. For example, performing a single Ctrl + scroll jump zooms directly from 100% to 332%. Constantly resetting the zoom level via Ctrl + 0 is quite frustrating, and I prefer not to rely on system-level custom key bindings in Ubuntu.

Mouse vs. Touchpad Navigation Modes:
Even though I use a physical mouse, I am forced to keep my navigation mode set to Touchpad. When using the Mouse setting, scrolling the wheel zooms the board instead of panning down the page, which is not my expected behavior. Having finer control over these input preferences would greatly improve usability.

Default / Anchor Style Settings for Text:
A 'Reset Style' or 'Anchor Style' feature is still missing. I would love to see an option to set a default text style (e.g., 18 pt, black color) so that every new text box automatically inherits these default properties, ideally with a shortcut key to apply or lock this style.

As a long-time Miro user, introducing these small QoL improvements would significantly enhance the user experience. Thank you for your support and for continuously improving Miro!

System:
- Vivaldi Browser: Version: 8.2.4133.47 Official Build x86_64, Chromium Version: 152.0.7977.112
- OS: Ubuntu 24.04

Best regards, Miro 💜
