Hi everyone!

I’m Pieter from Belgium. Currently working for itsme as a customer success expert. I found Miro to map user interviews and structure them in a way to find painpoints. Afterwards, we used it to design a user journey and turned it into an internal project.

I’m here to learn more about Miro and it’s features!

Hi Everyone,

I just started using Miro, and I love it. Really would like to geek out with people to talk about how to use it. Ive read some things already, and so inspired!!

I work with MBA students as a career coach, and I am starting a business to help coach children to self-lead. I’m also an artist ;)

Up up and away!

Hi All!

I’m the founder of Resilien.Tech and live outside of Chicago. Although I started Resilien.Tech as a consulting company, in early 2020 (for obvious reasons) I pivoted to developing online leadership workshops specifically for Tech Professionals. My flagship is The Tech Leader’s Workshop.

I created the first iteration of the workshop in a private instance of Discourse. It’s an open source forum platform, and it has worked fine for V1.0. But I am want a more engaging platform. So I’m testing Miro as a potential replacement.

Hey everyone! 👋🏽

I’m Dimitri (Jim) Antonopoulos — I’m the Managing Director of strategy and innovation consultancy Tank in Melbourne, founder of MarchFirst leadership academy. I also write a weekly journal on creative leadership and a podcast called Fearless conversations. But most importantly, I'm a father of three.

Love the Miro platform and looking to explore how we can weave it into what we do and model some of our own tools onto it.

Hi,

My name is Terrence, and I am a game developer for Avalanche studios. It’s a Swedish company, but I work in the NY office, and am a native NY-er (though I have worked in TX and Sweden for a few different gaming companies and many years). I am the lead of world design team, as well as an experience owner for a growing multidisciplinary team, ranging from code, scripting, world building, and environment art and audio.

My studio loves Miro and I it is one of my main tools for development and collaboration, so I have a vested interesting and making Miro the best it can be. (so far its one of my favorite tools!). Looking forward to listening and contributing to this awesome community.

This is me getting ready for another meeting… on mute of course.

Hello all,

I’m Brian and I work with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) in Amman Jordan. I’m the Regional Learning and Development Specialist, and I’m beginning to explore how we can use Miro to convert some of our face-to-face trainings and induction courses into online deliverable products. I’m already having a great time testing out some ideas (with our People and Performance Management course), and have high hopes that this can make our trainings engaging, participatory, and fun. Miro is going to be transformational for our online trainings (if we can overcome bandwidth issues in some of the remote areas we work in.)

I’m happy to share ideas.

Kind regards to all.

Here’s me in Petra, Jordan with a newfound friend who wanted to eat my hat.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Alex, and I’m the Marketing Coordinator for Pet Parents. We make dog/cat diapers, blankets, belly bands, pads, and a plethora of other products for your furbaby. In a short while we’ll be opening our first new HQ and Store combination, and I’m incredibly excited. I’ve been working in a windowless plywood office, built inside a windowless warehouse (lmao!) since August, so I’m chomping at the bit to get into our incredible new office… and to have windows!

Generally speaking, I’m a nerd on various things inside and out of the marketing field. I don’t take myself too seriously, and I always enjoy a challenge. Motorsports and riding my motorcycle is my passion, but I have quite a few other things I enjoy doing: fishing, learning languages, music, movies, and trying to create stories with audio and/or text. If you have any questions for me, I’m an open book, so don’t hesitate to ask. After reading quite a few posts, it’s great to see so many others who have benefited from Miro. It’s been my saving grace after years of struggle.

I started using Miro after a coworker showed me the free version. Ten minutes into using it I was hooked. I used the free version to create something for the owner, and he was into it too, so we ended up buying a plan. It’s a great tool for me to finally get a plan organized and fully visualized, rather than trying to write a list down and going through the arduous experience of trying to get others to imagine things the way you see them; simply impossible.

With Miro, it’s been a godsend for everyone involved in my projects. Not only do they get to see a full visual representation of a process or procedure, but they almost always end up making a comment about how interesting it is to see things the way I do… is that good or bad?

I use Miro in my personal life as well. Though nothing too serious, I’m utilizing it to try and build out a story that I think would be cool to write. Far too nerdy/dorky to disclose haha!

I look forward to getting to know people and see what happens from here on out!

Greetings from the little Red Dot of Singapore.
I'm John K and a virtual team leadership coach having been an on and off user of realtimeboard but never really got serious. Now I am and using it for coaching 1-2-1- and groups. Now that my clients have accepted that virtual team working is here to stay and online coaching is actually pretty fabulous.
My vast sticky note covered walls in conference rooms can be replaced by a miro board and everyone gets to interact and stay engaged.

Hi everyone! I’m Dan - an entrepreneur and community-builder based in Amsterdam. 👋

I thought I was new to Miro, but discovered I had been using a (RealTime) board 6 years ago for my startup - to collaborate with my distributed team.

I’m someone that loves to brainstorm and plan visually, so it’s super cool to see how Miro has developed, and to discover all the cool new capabilities (as well as finding this community)!

Over the weekend I used Miro to map out books that I’ve read and I recommended (it’s a work in progress - let me know if you have feedback on how I could make it better).

Looking forward to using Miro more, and to learning from you all the community! 🚀

Hi,

I am Frederik, Co-Founder of Acquirepad. We are a B2B Marketplace for commercial real estate in Germany. I am a former Broker and Product Manager. I am covering Product, Sales, Marketing and Design in our team. Happy to exchange how to leverage Miro for Flows, Diagrams, Roadmaps etc.

We use Figma for wireframing and UX/UI.

Cheers,
Frederik

PS: The design, that the text box is at the bottom and you have to scroll 2 miles is really user unfriendly...

Kia ora!  I used Miro a few years back for project management when it was known as Realtime, and I’m wanting to use it for project management again 😊

Hello

I am Jayraj, I am a Revenue Operations Director at www.webware.io, I manage the entire company techstack. We extensively use Miro for UML diagrams, process flows, mind mapping and roadmap templates.

Hi everyone,

I am Chimene from Mauritius, I am Team Coach at www.mcb.mu since last year when I first heard of Miro and even since I have been using the platform for brainstorming session, workshop, training activity and quick courses on how to navigate through Miro. I have been following many contributors and this evening will be my first session with the community. Looking forward for the Pictionary Miro games and how I can be of value to the community also.

How Wonderful to be connected with Mic and now I found out we have a community!!!

My name is José Ícaro, I am 35 years old, I am a Dentist graduated in a Brazilian University, but I have been developing WordPress solutions for 12 years and I created a Startup in 2020 called WPRaiz to try to bring more knowledge and add educators, developers, companies and freelancers from Brazil and Latin America.

We are in the Microsoft Startup Hub for 5 months and we received the invitation to meet Miro 2 days ago and I've already migrated 20 Boards that were in Figma and XMind and yesterday I did a webinar for 80 people using Miro and I didn't say anything during the Youtube Live and I was VERY HAPPY because everyone loved it and asked me for the slides and I just passed the link =DDD

If you want to know my project and sign up, we are in the Implementation phase, the website is wpraiz.com.br and our little Youtube channel is youtube.com/wpraiz .

HELLO @EVERYONE,

I am new to the MIRO environment but find it works well for presentations. But wondering if any of your JAVA Script peeps could tell me if there is a way of creating a timer that reset itself and whatever activity that you created in Miro to what it looked like before the user hit the timer to begin the activity!

Inquiring minds are waiting to know if this is a DO-ABLE possibility.

My Name is CJ

We love using Miro for designing conversation flows.

“The Naughty Corner” --nice!

Hi Heroes & Heroines!

My name is Anna. I’m a Junior Consultant in a management consulting firm for the rail- and communications infrastructure industry based in Germany. I use Miro to get team meetings on track by getting everyone involved in thinking, discussing and organizing goals and work. I feel that where on PowerPoint slides things (and my lifetime) go to die, with Miro we can breath life into any subject. Make it visible, make it move. That’s why I try to sneak Miro into any project I get to work on.

I’m here to improve my board game and reduce the efford for me as creator and for anyone participating on my boards.

Welcome to the community Anna,

Hi All,

My name is Mike and I am Project Manager from Chicago, IL. I manage various types of projects but have been more and more involved in innovation projects which is how I found Miro.

Miro has helped me drive collaboration in a remote environment in ways that I didn’t think were possible. I can’t imagine working it without it to the point where, my desk is no longer messy but my board that is named “Mike’s Desk” is a mess and littered with ideas, thoughts, templates, and who knows what else.

Looking forward to hearing all the awesome ideas that everyone has!
