🎄✨ In Innovation Wonderland, where ideas flow,

the gift of giving is the star of the show!

On day three, let’s share and connect,

a little kindness is the gift we’ll collect! ✨🎄

It’s day three of our Innovation Wonderland week, and we’re kicking off the season of giving with a gift exchange! 🎁

Generosity is at the heart of the Miro Heroes community — it’s how we grow, collaborate, and support each other. So today, we invite you to join in the giving!

How to participate:

  1. Comment with a link to a digital resource you’d like to gift — it’s that simple! It can be anything that benefits the community! 🙌
Unsure of what to share? Here’s some inspiration:
    • A link to schedule a quick coffee chat with you ☕
    • A free e-book you authored 📚
    • A secret, exclusive template not yet shared on Miroverse 🌟
    • Or anything else you think other Miro Heroes would enjoy!
  2. Browse what others are sharing and feel free to claim what you like! 💫

What's in it for you?

  • We’ll randomly select 50 community members who share as a comment on this thread in the Miro Hero Community OR the Miro Forum to receive a $30 gift card once their comment with the offer is live! 🎉
  • Post multiple gifts if you'd like, but each selected individual will only receive one gift card.
  • Make sure your gift is free, since it's a gift.
  • Mironeers are joining in too, so look out for some unique goodies from our team! ✨

Let’s make this a season of giving and spread the holiday cheer! 🎄✨

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s gift — it’s coming your way! 🎁

Hi

I’m sharing a white paper that i co-authored back in 2021. It focuses on challenges and possible solutions in cross disiplinary teams. I often work in Miro with cross disiplinary teams and love how Miro can help with differences and challenges between disciplines by offering so many ways to work, so that we come together and create value. https://www.emerald.com/insight/content/doi/10.1108/jet-03-2021-0013/full/html

🖐️

I want to share a readers guide that gives a ton of context to support your use of Harry Tucker’s Flow Engineering Template for Flow Engineering: https://miro.com/miroverse/flow-engineering-maps/

The guide covers every chapter of the book and good practices to support creating each of the maps: https://itrevolution.com/product/readers-guide-flow-engineering/

If you’d like to hear more about how we’re using Flow Engineering to improve flow, feel free to reach out to me! I’d love to help.

A short article I wrote on a data definition framework to integrate data with Design Thinking to enable and measure service experiences. It’s titled, “From Touchpoints to Datapoints: A data definition framework for enabling and measuring experiences”. Feel free to use it as inspiration in your data intensive service design projects 🙂 !

Want to learn more about supporting behavioral health of cats and dogs in shelters? Choose one of free, 20-minute on-demand courses on ASPCApro. You’ll come away with ideas to apply with your own pets, too.

We conceptualized and designed these courses using Miro before moving them into eLearning authoring and learning management software. These courses have had over 20,000 enrollments from shelter professionals around the globe, expanding our capacity for psychological care of animals. I hope you find them useful!

Here’s a copy of my ebook Stop OKR Mismanagement (Objectives and Key Results) with lots of examples, tips and tricks on creating effective OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) - it’s all about solving customer pain points, but many leaders get it so wrong. There is also a Miro template for a co-creation workshop board with your team to go with it, so heck - why not have them both.

Stop OKR Mis-Management

The Ultimate OKR Co-Creation Framework

Enjoy!

Hey Miro lovers 😄

I share this resource link https://www.freepik.com/ of free/pay vectors icons picture items, that I use often to create aesthetic Miro dashboard!

I hope it helps you a lot as me,

Happy holidays 🎄🎄🎄

There’s a great AI newsletter that I subscribe to called The Neuron. It’s free and easy to understand for someone who understands AI basics and wants to learn more.

Hey there! It's great to share our experiences and skills with you, and I can't think of a better place to share it with you than Miro! It's a really great site, and I much prefer it over Canva, imagine! I hope to win a free lifetime Miro account🥺.

Good luck everyone.

Here is a custom GPT that I built that allows you to ‘translate’ your message to your kids into words they will understand (or vice versa!)

https://chatgpt.com/g/g-GuoXovEdZ-nextgen-translator

example:

can you please unstack the dishwasher before you watch tv. It would really help me out and I would appreciate it.

Hey 😊, can you clear out the dishwasher real quick before you vibe with the TV? 🍿📺 It’d be super clutch 🙌, and I’d owe you big time! 💯✨

For those in the education sector, CID has some fabulous & free online courses.

Here’s link to a video I made… I hope you enjoy!!

I believe poetry brings us joy - but too often we are intimidated by even the idea of it. I put music and images to poetry to help people connect to the amazing insights these words can catalyze!! I publish a daily poem (with mandalas) from Rumi, and weekly vids like this one. I work with Miro as a function of my training role, and my YouTube vids are a way to keep myself in the game of constantly seeing with fresh eyes, increasing my ability to help learners.  Happy holidays, everyone!!

During the holiday season, as busy professionals, sometimes the best thing to give is the gift we can give ourselves — in the form of self-care. This is a very good, easy-to-use guide, with a downloadable checklist of things you can do to find relaxation, mindfulness, energy, or focus:

15 Holiday Self-Care Tips: A Bucket List for Your Well-Being

I hope this might be helpful for some folks!

I work in the space of Product Development and Organizational Innovation Design; I also work as a Personal Trainer on the side :)

I help anytime I can to others around me, whether it’s strangers I just met, friends, coworkers, I look to help them all the same. If you’d like to spend a little time, and have a great conversation, I am one email away at jrobertson@leasedirect.com

Hello from Norway

To find good photos that are free to use is always a challenge. Here is my collection of photos of houses I find interesting, that inspire me, or just raises a lot of questions…… Houses, dwellings and homes | 100+ best free building, home, house, and housing photos on Unsplash

Hello 👋 Greetings from Chile 🇨🇱

My gift for you guys is a iOS Shorcut that I made to automate an important aspect of my workflow: how to record rapidly a new contact. To do that this shortcut uses ChatGPT to extract information in any context because it takes a screenshot so it can be used in any moment.

https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/14f7f9ac0637468faefabe3a88ef80be

Besides the app Shortcuts, you’ll need to have installed the ChatGPT app.

When you see data that you want to add as a contact, you just need to share it with this shortcut.

- On a website, like a store's contact information, select share in Safari and choose this shortcut as the destination.

- Do you have a photo with a doctor's information, for example? Select the photo and choose to share it with this shortcut.

- If the data appears in an application, what you can do is take a screenshot and share it with this shortcut.

What the shortcut does is take a screenshot and share it with ChatGPT to interpret the data, so the contact information you want to register must be readable on screen.
