Hi, The brackets/braces shape is not working well for me. For one it doesn’t scale well. And the tip in the middle is barely visible, I wish it looked more like a bracket and was able to scale well. I end up using these arrows instead to create a similar meaning, but that can also be misleading and I often can’t make them look the same. In this video I scale the brackets from small to big. I also show how I add arrows instead and try to recreate the shape.

I’ve been using Presentation Mode a fair bit in recent times, and there’s a couple of things which I believe would be a great update.1. A “home” frameRather than using the LinkTo option is return a presentation back to a single frame throughout a presentation, it would be awesome if you could effectively duplicate the frame in the setup of Presentation Mode so that the team can be re-oriented with the home throughout the presentation.eg An Agenda frame. Once each section of an agenda is done, have the agenda frame as the ‘next’ frame in the Presentation Mode setup - reordering of Frames. At present, I have to either use LinkTo or put multiple frames around the agenda. Neither of those are ideal. Lock/Unlock frames in Frame setup These just aren’t enough options. I’d love quick access to Lock/Unlock a frame and all its contents Hide Frame names This one is really unimportant, very much a “nice to have if a developer is bored” haha.Being able to quickly hide the frame names and lines. Hi, I’m running a virtual event using Miro where we will give our client a virtual tour of our latest digital tools. There will be about 5 virtual tech stands on the board and a presentation at each one explaining what the tools do. I will help the clients navigate around the board. How can I include the clients more and get them to interact live with the person running the presentation about the tool? I’d really appreciate some ideas. Thanks.
Hello! I am so happy to see this group support. There is so much information currently available that I am having difficulty navigating through it all. I would like to use Miro Boards for small group work in Zoom breakout rooms during synchronous classes and am not sure if this even possible, if not, I may just assign small groups in Canvas for them to use the Miro board to brainstorm. Has anyone used Miro with Zoom? I would also be interested in any other ways people are using this tool in higher education.
Hi everyone,I’ve just published a video on YouTube, that I thought you might like here in the forum! It’s covering 100 handy Miro tips, hidden features and shortcuts that I’ve collected over the last 4 years working with Miro and exploring probably all use cases.Link to the video → https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Bv8zaZRNB4Some tips you might be familiar with, but some I’m sure are knew for you since I also learned a lot things by trying to stretch myself to collect 100 tips, that are helpful and not-obvious.Making this video took us over 30 hours, plus another 25 hours for editing. So we hope you enjoy it! Dear Miro Community,A little over a month ago we launched Stickers in Miro, offering you more fun ways to express yourself. Our goal is to grow our stickers library so that you can find a relevant sticker for any situation ─ whether that’s celebrating success as a team or giving a colleague a tap on their back when they need it the most. In the spirit of co-creation, we’ve given our community the opportunity to add stickers and unfortunately we haven’t received many stickers to date. But this won’t stop us from reaching our goal to offer you a great variety of stickers so that you have one for every situation and every mood. So we will reach out to some of the most creative illustrators out there to design awesome stickers for our users and we would like to hear from you what kind of stickers you’d like to see. Please comment on this thread with your ideas on the types of stickers you’d like to see! Thank you,Julia

When using Miro assist on 2 or more items wich are same types, cannot use a thing as simple as “translate to”you have to do it for each label… Nonsense. And at the end of the process of one translation, miro decides to zoom on the text label each time ! so user have to unzoom each time… What a time loss ><
I have been using the Miro Assist Expand with ideas action on mind map nodes and am loving it. However, what has frustrated me is, when I have another objects type, e.g., a sticky note from a brainstorming activity and I want to turn it into a mind map, I have to copy the text, create a mind map, and paste the text into the mind map – that is just too many steps.Given there was no “switch type” action to convert objects into mind maps, but there is CRUD (create, read, update, delete) mind map in the Miro SDK in an experimental release, I had the idea to take @Yash's open-source Cardsy app (that makes cards from other objects) and use it to make a one-click solution to create mind map nodes from other objects. Thanks to @Max Harper for assisting with the final lines of code, you can try it our for yourself here.Install linkThe install link can be found here → https://linktr.ee/realrobertjohnsonNote:This is an unofficial Miro app. You may also be blocked from installing it from your Miro

Hi Everyone, I’ve written a Miro addon that renders LaTeX math expressions to images you can then drag and drop to your boards. It also includes the option to toggle the input mode from plain tex to the excellent MathLive equation editor widget.I’m looking for a few test users to give some feedback on the UI and iron out any bugs.Addon url is https://miro.com/oauth/authorize/?response_type=code&client_id=3458764526714594504&redirect_uri=%2Fconfirm-app-install%2F Code is here: https://github.com/grady/miro-latex This is under active development, so it could break at any moment.I hope people find this useful.
