    Miro Web Clipper to embed/link source URL into captured screenshotOpen

    Hi Miro Team,Currently, when you capture a screenshot from a webpage, using the chrome addon “Miro Web Clipper” it shows up inside Miro under “Upload > Web Clipper”, but when you drag it onto whiteboard you have no way to trace back where you took it from. The URL of the page, where the screenshot was taken from is LOST. The only hint is the name of the image which saves ONLY DOMAIN but not the url/link. Eg. www.amazon.com-2023-2-12-9-23-15.pngYou must manually right-click on the image and select “Link” and copy and paste the URL from Chrome address bar into Miro, to make the screenshot clickable / hyperlinked to the source webpage. This is then symbolised by the little clickable button in top-rigt corner of the image.This should be automatic (or a global setting to enable/disable).The Web Clipper screesnhot object when dragged into whiteboard should already contain Link to the source webpage.This way the screenshot acts also as a BOOKMARK to display the entire webpage with all the related information.Any serious researcher takes tenths of screenshots when roaming an internet and doing a research. There is no way to remember where they come from and adding link manually to every image completelly breaks the flow and makes the Web Clipper just about as usefull as using any of 1000 screenshot utilities and doing CTRL+C / CTRL+V from clipboard and than manually adding a link.Thank youRV

    Lock the dimensions of an object but still allow users to move itOpen

    Is there a way to lock just the shape/ formatting of an object but still allow users to move it? We use circles/ tokens for voting, ranking in 2X2 evaluation matrix, etc. Our participants love the interactivity of it but the dots will sometimes resize in an attempt to drag and drop.

    Stay informed of updates to previously used / favourite templates on MiroverseOpen

    Summary:As a user of many Miroverse templates I would L😍VE to be informed when updates are made to boards I’ve used, or boards I’ve favourited. Use case​Often Miroverse creators update their templates (from just the small typo fixes to more noticeable improvements).As a Miroverse Consumer:It would be great to know if creators update the boards I’ve used or favourited so I can make sure I use the latest version next time. It would be preferable to understand what’s changed (like a changelog) so I can check it over before using the new versionAs a Miroverse creator:it would be nice to have control over whether or not to alert followers when I make updates (not me particularly, but some people are more inhibited by public announements and it may prevent them publishing changes).

    Have control over the size of the board tiles in the dashboardOpen

    Problem: For projects where I have a lot of boards (30+), it can take some scrolling to find the right board I’m looking for. Solution: I’d love to be able to decrease the size of the tiles so that i can see more tiles in the same screen.An alternative would be the ability to making subfolders which would more than help solve having so many boards in one project, but I know that’s a different (popular 😉) wishlist item.Example of an app I use that enables tile resizing in a way that’s useful and intuitive

    Make all internal Miro links relational by defaultOpen

    User Case:  I hold the same workshop to multiple clients. I develop this board in one place, this is sort of a master version of the workshop. For each client I then hold the workshop for, I copy paste the relevant frames and items I wish to include into a new board which I have added to that account and project.  The problem is only that when I do, all links are still pointing to the master version board, and not the frames in the new board. As I may want to have 10 or maybe even 100 links in one board, it makes it impossible to use links because of this, at least in this way.  A nice feature would be to make the links stay relational within each board. As far as I understand it, the links are today built up by /boardID/widgetID. So I guess what I would like is that if I paste a set of 20 frames into a new board, containing 100 links, the link with /boardID/ would be updated, replacing the origin board ID with the destination board ID.  Sometimes I might want those links to stay static (stay linked to the original board), but as I see this as a less commong need, I would add a $ to those links, to say that the board or widget link should stay intact:  Relational link (will change to the new board): https://miro.com/app/board/boardID/widgetID/ Static link (will stay pointed to original board): https://miro.com/app/board/$boardID/widgetID/  My current workaround to this today is to create a link grid as a template, or duplicate a whole board, and then remove unwanted frames, but both of these are rather hassly.

    Better Link OptionsOpen

    I am using Miro a lot to do self organized learning in my classes - using it as a backbone structure for different tasks and linking between elements (help, self-control...) but the link feature using tiny arrows in the top right corner of a shape is just a pain to navigate, especially on tablets. There is things like buttons in frames but they don't work that way. I wish the shape itself would work as a button by just clicking it.

    Password Complexity and ExpiryOpen

    We have both SSO login and non-SSO login Miro users without our org. The current password requirements for non-SSO login users on Miro do not align with standard corporate security requirements (combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols, etc.), which can leave these accounts and company data vulnerable.  That being said, there are two things that we’re looking for: Password complexity and stricter requirements  Automatic password expiry after a set duration of time (e.g., every year), or the option to manually force password reset from enterprise settings

    Hover Preview of a Board's contentsOpen

    Using thumbnails to reveal something about the contents of a Board is nice, however as the contents change, you’d have to update the thumbnail every time.Showing a preview of a Board in a small window when hovering over it in the Dashboard would help to quickly get an idea of what was in the Board (especially ones that you don’t access often). Clicking the preview opens the board.Bonus: being able to scan&zoom the preview

    Drag Board to Project in Dashboard viewOpen

    Manually setting / moving a board to a(nother) project is somewhat tedious (especially when you want to rearrange multiple Boards). It feels natural to be able to just drag&drop a Board in a Project in the Dashboard view.Bonus: drag&selecting multiple Boards and dropping those into a Project at once.

    Basic vs Advanced Color PaletteDelivered

    Ability as a user to have a basic colour pallette, or advanced colour pallette to use within MIRO. On the advanced side it would be great to have the basic colours and then all the variants to work within. This way people don’t have to be custom selecting all the time.Saw a great post on this from last year, but it goes even further.     Snap the connection lane in the middle of a shapeOpen

    Hello,Currently, on a round shape for instance, there are 4 “snap points” at the border of the shape. (+ free placing snap still at the border of the shape)I wish we could snap a lane in the middle of a shape to make the connection “always in the correct direction” when moving the shape around.Thanks for considering this wish.     Toggle can't be changed with one clickOpen

    When using the wireframe library “Toggle” button (see screenshot, red border), is it correct that you can’t change the state by clicking the button  itself? As far as I can see, it changes only when clicking on “State” and selecting “On/Off” there. But not by clicking itself. On the other hand, when using a “Radio Button” (blue border) I can click the Button itself to set the state “On/Off”.  Is this an intended behaviour? Intuitively, a toggle button should be able to be toggled, right?

    Just realized that when I want to add emojis or use tools from the “Tools button”, I need to open the tools menu every time, search for emojis or click on it every time. Would love to be able to pin tools to the side bar. See below how I imagine it.     Often when I send board links or am sent a board, when it loads I have no idea where to even begin and it stunts effective collaboration. Is there a way each frame or section could be tagged or given a summary to help allieviate context switching from one topic to another that are both on the same board?

    Fixed Swim lanesOpen

    We work in a technology backlog and quickly lose track of which work package is on which swimlane. So my suggestion would be to fix the titles of the swimlanes so that you can see them in every point of the table without having to scroll to the far left.Similar principle as in Excel (see attachment)

    Receipts in the currency of the country of subscriptionOpen

    It would be great if we can receive receipts in the currency of country where we are paying for the subscription. For an example, I paid for the yearly subscription from Canada. so if my receipt is in CAD, it would be great!

    Add the ability to hide frames for any board editorsOpen

    Please allow other members of a team/editors of a board (non-board creators) to hide frames they create within the board (extra points if they can still see it themselves and edit it while it’s private for the other board teammates)At present we’re having to go to one member of the team (the board creator) to hide items we don’t want others to see and then we ourselves can’t see these things when working on them in a public board (public to the team). This is causing a bottleneck and stops people wanting to work on Miro as they can’t work on something hidden that will eventually be for the full teamA direct example of this would be if I’m trying to do a H1 roadmap for the team and I’m ideating on this, I want to create it in Miro so it’s visual and simple to understand but I don’t want anyone else in the team seeing this as it’s a WIP. Thanks!

    Ability to disable "Presentation Mode" for participantsOpen

    Need the ability to “disable present” in the permission set that can be applied to types of participants, such as editors. The Problem: The prominent placement of the “Present” button in the upper right hand corner, has been leading virtual workshop participants to click on it.  Which inadvertently launches a presentation, that every user gets a prompt to join, disrupting the flow of the workshop or design review. I’ve had serval virtual workshops and design reviews with 50-80 participants in a board, and multiple times in one session, someone clicks “present”. The problem may be in part it may be due to them thinking they are clicking the drop down carrot, when in fact they are clicking the “present” action button.
