When clicking a link that leads to an element inside the same board, I would like to have a “Go back to previous view” button showing up on the bottom of my screen. The button should only show up until I change my view (moving, zooming) - if i do that the button disappears. However if I dont change my view I have an easy possibility to jump back to where I came from when I clicked the link.
When you organize your frames in the frames panel to be show in the right order, it would really help if you could group frames - maybe similar to how you add section in Microsoft PowerPoint. This way when you have to move an exrecise (comprised of multiple frames) to another place in your timeline, you can easily move the content to the right place.Just to clarify - I am not talking about organizing the frames on the board, but organizing the frames in the frames panel that you can activate on the left, and run your session from.
Adding color into the map would be helpful. Instead of just showing blue boxes, it could default with blue, but allow for boxes and shapes inside to show the color that has been set for them in the project.
Hi,I have tried out the timeline in the beta phase and am really excited about this template. During its use, it would be very helpful if an added group could be moved to a different position, allowing for a custom sorting. Alternatively, an option to insert a new group above or below an existing group could be offered.A display of the timeline in months or quarters would also be a helpful feature in terms of providing a view with less detail, which could be used for reports. Looking forward to seeing what great additions will come.
Can you please, please, please, create a setting in Miro called: “I already know what I am doing and as much as I Iove Miro and it is all I can talk about with my friends coworkers and lovers all day and all night, I swear on whatever you want me to swear on that I will not be emotionally damaged but maybe just for now turn off the insanely intrusive ‘let me help you with that’, ‘have you tried our new vegan org chart?’ help tips. I am seriously one more unrequested feature tour away form switching to Whimsical.
Integration between Miro and Instagram reels, same as YouTube
LOVE the new Custom Shapes (Beta). Only ask is to make it so when I draw a line Down, it doesn’t go over the label.
When creating Entity Shapes, it would be great to be able to move rows that have already been added similar to what is done for tables rather than having to remove text and start again. This is a useful feature within Drawio and would be great to see this in Miro
Say you have two text boxes linked by arrows, and you decide you want to move the box on the left to the right. In that case, the arrows go crazy, crossing over both text boxes; this looks awful and is a hassle to fix manually. I want a button that auto-makes arrows look sane, eg connecting to the closest points of their respective objects. As a stretch goal, I’d like a force-directed graph drawing option, so that boxes can move around automatically into ‘sane’ positions. I want to work on content and have the software handle layout.
Hi,We need to password protect most of our boards as the information within them is sensitive and shouldn’t be available to everyone on our account.I’ve often got a few boards open as I need to move between them. However, MIRO is resetting and asking me for the passwords frequently. That’s fine, except the board is blurred out, so I’ve got no idea what board it’s asking for. I don’t want to have to close them and open them constantly. It would be much easier if you could just unblur the name of the board. Surely that isn’t an issue if people don’t have access to the password?
It would be helpful to see the board name when signing in to a board. If all of my browser tabs time out, and I have to put the password back in, I have no way to know which board was on that tab.Additionally, if the board name itself is a secure piece of data, another additional feature could be adding a field near “Anyone with the link” to have the board admin add a label for folks to see instead or the admin could choose to share the board name itself.
I have a lot of miro boards open but theyre all password protected. Problem is, whenever I try to get back into them, I don’t know which board is which so I have to try ALL the passwords. Please just put the title of the board somewhere on the screen.
Some boards I want on a grid, and others I don’t. yet I have to change the settings every time I switch boards. Ugh.
while using several Meditation apps, I learned that there should also be one-on-one consultation meeting mode.So in meditation app development, can we integrate miro api so that there will be better communication with the user and smoother interaction?. I am using meditation4soul source code developed in flutter.
As the facilitator, Can I override someone who hasn't deselected a post-it so I can move it or move the frame.
I am trying to influence more adoption of Miro in my company, and I recently had a demo where I asked the attendees to visit my Miro board to give feedback and ask questions for future sessions, but ran into a problem I had not anticipated. The group is not too willing to add to the board, simply because it will take them time they don’t have to open a training video to learn how to use the board, then how to add a simple sticky note. I also had no spare time in the demo to give a quick tutorial, so I had to trust that the instructions I added to the board were enough. I could easily add a paragraph and some screenshots guiding them through it, but I was wondering if you could add a feature for me to place a Quick Tips button of some sort to the board. Maybe it could be in a place where I could choose from a short list of pre made tips: “Adding a sticky note” or “how to add a comment”, etc. I could place the button on the board where I would need it, and if clicked on, it could open a small window or give pop ups guiding the user through grabbing and adding a sticky note. It seems so trivial, especially since Miro works so hard to make all the features as intuitive and as user friendly as possible (Thank you for that), but this gets the visitor in the board and interacting quickly with a 30 second tip to help them out. They can also do it on their own time if they visit the board after the meeting. I am more than happy to speak more to this if needed, feel free to reach out. -Candice
I'm working on my department local portal by constructing its flowchart to list all the links that should be a branch of the website tree. To do that, I'm looking on local portals from other portals from similar and differents departments to see how I could make a more complete portal for us.I start wondering if would be possible to extract the HTML file from this various portals and insert it on a Miro board as a source file to construct a auto-generated website flowchart through the menu hierarchy descriped in the code. Would that be possible? The point here is to planify the website link-tree in a visual manner so then we can updated it, or use it to construct a new website based on this flowchart model.
It would be great if there were an option for the “timeline” shape found in Value Stream Mapping that allowed us to add all the values in the top row and all the values in the bottom row (two separate sums). In the screenshot below, the top row would have a sum of 1.1 days, and the bottom row would have a sum of 68. Note: the screenshot below uses several “timeline” shape objects linked together, so it’s not all one shape.Frequently, we create value stream maps, which can be quite cumbersome when we need to add these numbers across a large value stream map.
I really like the timeline builder that's been added. However, the weekly view isn't big enough. I’m not planning that detailed. It would be really great if that could be expanded into months or quarters. I’d love to be able to use that for a wider timeline view to map out roadmaps for 1-3 years out.
