    Force shapes to be symmetricalOpen

    Sometimes I like my circles to be perfectly round and my rectangles to be perfectly square.When I open a new board and add a circle, it appears that it is perfectly round. However, once I change it, no matter what I do, I cannot seem to get it back to its ‘round’ state.This option would be available for shapes where it makes logical sense/is technically possible.I could also select and apply this action to multiple shapes at once.

    Distinguish between editing a board and administering itOpen

    I think that the ability to edit a board should be distinct from administrative functions like inviting others to do so. As explained on Access Rights and Board Ownership,Editors get full access to all the tools on the board. They can make changes to the content, delete or upload new files, edit access rights of other members and add new collaborators.I want to allow collaborators (students) use all the tools on the board, but not have the ability to edit things about the board, like who participates. I imagine that would be true in other contexts too, but it is essential for a class.I suggest either creating a new level of permissions between "commenter" and "editor" that can use tools but not edit other users access, or else at least allowing the board owner to decide whether the editors should have the ability to change other uses's permissions or not.At present, I have to make all users commenters until the start of class, switch them to editors, and then hope nobody messes with anybody else’s permissions.

    Hide or minimize video box when Screen sharingOpen

    When in Screen Sharing, recently, there has pop up a video box. It would be amazing if it could be hidden, minimized or removed – since our company is using an external video communication tool.

    Smooth transition on internal links in a boardOpen

    Problem: Currently there is a default setting for the duration of the sweeping movement over the board when following a link within the board. This make movements to any links that are not in the immediate vicinity of the origin blurry and hard to follow. Users get disoriented and do not have the benefit of orienting themselves in the big picture. SolutionAllow board designers to adjust settings for the path taken from a link to its destination within the board. In its most simple form this would be to make the current default duration of about 1 second adjustable to fast/medium/slow. More advanced (and a really cool feature to improve storytelling) would be settings to controll:speed of movement across the board apex (peak altitude) of the flightpath (changing the current flat pat to a parabel, prefarably with realistic acceleration/deceleration on take-off and landing) waypoints to pass along the way to destinationThis is very much a nice to have feature. But don’t you agree that it would be so very nice though?

    Could we have keys such as &lt;Ctrl-K&gt; that are unassigned given their ‘normal’ or well-know action - in this case enter/ edit a hyperlinkThe learning curve for miro would be reduced and the convienience increased

    Sticky colors in stock colorsOpen

    All the sticky colors are not in the ‘stock color’ choices for other objects and text. So if you want to create objects that have matching colors you need to use the eyedropper to match the color.

    Mind maps in all four directions (up and down)Delivered

    I would really appreciate being able to mind map truly in all four directions. As of now there’s only left and right. If you move an item to the top or bottom of the starting node, the item is still either connected to the left or right side, continuing to build in that direction. In this way, I’m at best able to map in four directions diagonally.The reason for the request is that I’m building a board with several mind maps building from the edges and towards the center.Thank you!

    Custom padding for frames set to gridOpen

    If I could control the width of the padding on frames set to grid mode, I’d be thrilled. I’d like to be able to change the width between the objects as well as the width between objects and the edge of the frame. The community idea “Text padding shouldn't change with text size” is in a similar vein. These ability to control padding would help boards waste less space, especially when saving space across several frames or even very large ones.Also, at a 0 width, one could functionally create their own custom tables by having the outlines touch, which is something that would be great for me as I find the built-in table rather limiting.As a workaround, I’ve just been setting the font size really high so I can zoom out to scale everything down. It mostly works, but it’s a bit awkward.Uses up too much space.Much better for my current project.Otherwise, Miro is absolutely great! I’ve been able to share it with several of my friends and peers. Thank you for creating, maintaining, and improving such an awesome tool.

    PDF Export / frame links within pdfOpen

    Hi miro team,my frequent use case is:I have a huge board with a “master frame” that host dozens of sub-frames. A pdf export gives me all frames, also the master frame. Now it would be extremely comfortable if the pdf page of the master frame linked to all its sub-frames. I.e. clicking on one of the sub-frames in the large picture would direclty turn to the according pdf page with that frame.Best regardsTobias

    Allow numbers in numbered list to match text formatting (i.e. bold or italics)Open

    When writing a list in Miro, occasionally I want all the text to be bold in a particular list. The current set up in Miro only displays numbered lists in regular font type and allows no further formatting of the numbered list.

    Control individual board permissions within a projectOpen

    It seems impossible to set different permissions for each board within a project, such that some project boards can be “view only”, some can be “editable”, and some have no access (i.e. are invisible when under construction by a board owner) for all project members.Ideally this permission control would be available for only the owner of the board and/or team admin.  Currently there is global control (at the project level) for all boards within a project but that is a very blunt instrument.  Individual board control within a project would be very helpful, especially for educators like me (on the education plan), who must find ways to tightly control the virtual classroom environment.Miro - please add functionality for permission controls at the board level within a project.  The help/guides seem to suggest this is possible, but experienced users in the Community (thanks @Rob Johnson!) have confirmed that this is not currently possible.

    Short Name: Ready CheckUser Story: As a Remote Workshop Facilitator who uses Miro, I would like the ability to execute a “ready check” through the Miro user interface in order for me to quickly gain an understanding of which participants are at their computer and ready to move forward on the workshop. Having this information is critical given the nature of remote workshops and corporate cultures which may not include the explicit usage of webcams.Potential User Benefits:Spend less time asking questions, speaking over one another, and wondering if we should start or wait. Drive engagement with workshop participants. Use this functionality for other forms of quick engagement. Example: Verbally say “How many of you agree with what I just said? Check “ready if you agree” “not ready” if you don’t. Adjacent Connections:This feature has the potential to tie into existing systems which Miro already has in place and presents a number of growth opportunities for a Ready Check feature in the future. Ideas I have currently include: Integration with the timer system. &lt;Set a 15 minute timer for break, Execute Ready Check when timer completes&gt;. Integration with the voting system. As mentioned in the potential user benefits example, sometimes, facilitators/collaborators just need a quick way to ask a Yes or No question but don’t want to open the floor to 15 hot microphones all at once. Provided the ability to quickly type a question and see results from the remote audience presents a unique opportunity to expand this feature in the future.  Quick Miro Board Mock-Up for Version 1:

    Remove Mobile and Browser Wireframes from the Frames MenuOpen

    Frames are a great way to organize data on your Miro board.  I also like to use Miro mobile and browser wireframes containers for doing wireframe diagrams.  Typically I will group together the wireframe flows into a larger Frame.  Unfortunately all of the individual “Mobile” and “Browser” frames show up as individual frames in the Frames panel.  It would be nice if these were decoupled.  Maybe there is a way to do that today or another way to go about it, but I don’t think the Mobile/Browser wireframe (frame) is the same as a “Frame” to group content.

    It would be nice if there was the option for navigation elements built directly into the Miro interface. Not sure how feasible it is; put together two mock-ups to show possible configurations. FYI, you’ll need to zoom in to 20% and line up the current interface to the objects if you access the public links OPTION 01   OPTION 02

    Hi,If the cards having additional customized fields, it will be very much help full to gather ideas and export to excel easily. The attached idea card is one of the example, which we would like to use in the idea generation workshops so that participants will fill the details in the card.

    Navigation FafouritesOpen

    As a user of Miro Whiteboard I would like to create a list of personal (private) navigation points on the board, based on where my cursor is, and give each one of them a name, so that each time I go into the Miro whiteboard I can just select one of these to take me to where I want to go.Therefore, this might work as follows:When in Miro whiteboard, right click, and be given an option to “Add Personal Navigation Point”.  I would select that and be given the opportunity to give that personal navigation point a name, then save.  This would create a new menu option for me, probably immediately to the left of the current search button (magnifying glass). Hover-over might be called Personal Navigation Favourites.  in future I could then click on this menu option and see a list of all the personal (private) navigation points I have created, each by its name, and I could click on whichever one I want to take me to where I want to go. CheersJem

    Direct messages to a board participant without other users seeingOpen

    It would be great if there was a way to directly message or otherwise converse with an individual workshop participant without having to do it in the overall chat window that everyone can see. even better if i could also post images to that individual. don’t think we can do this yet!

    Add voting results as a smart filter.Open

    Since voting results became visilbe to all participants, I am happy to start stop using the dot-voting practice that is such a hazzle. Really excited with the new voting. And so new ideas pop up. I work quite often with quite large groups of people, 50+ participants. And we often end up voting on a large volume of notes. It would be cool if I could select the whole set of notes that people have voted on and then filter them on votes, this way I could quickly sort the notes that got 5 points, and then 4 points, 3, 2 and so on. They way I do it today is that I log in on the board with two tabs in my browser, look at the results overlay on one, and move the notes in the other - works relatively well.
