    Sticky Notes - Separate TITLE field, customize shapeOpen

    The Sticky notes are very useful. However, I end up going back to standard text boxes because there are two limitations:1.) TITLE FIELD - I wish there was a short Title I could put at the top of the note, and that I could have a separate field below for the longer details. For instance : “STEP 1: Design” in the title field, and below details such as brainstorms, tasks, etc. That would make it much easier to quickly reorder sticky notes when mapping out a structure for a story, or really any Whiteboard task that requires rethinking the order of things. 2.) RESIZE TO ANY SHAPE - I don’t find the “square” and “rectangle” limitation useful. I assume the idea is to make them look like “real” sticky notes, which come in these two shapes. But why limit the possibilities on a virtual White Board? I just want to be able to resize them to add more space if my ideas run longer.

    Edit a document on Microsoft Teams within MIROOpen

    As a project manager I want to host my documents on Microsoft Teams and not require my team to leave MIRO when collaborating. Currently I can only link to a teams doc, but I cannot edit within MIRO. Is this a feature in the works? Is there a plugin for this?

    Exported PDF "printed" dpi doesn't match on-screen ppiOpen

    I have the ability to export full quality PDFs.When I do, what looks good and reasonable at 100% view size in Miro.com looks about half that that size when I export to PDF.It’s like there’s a mismatch between PPI and DPI.This causes problems when someone views my PDF in an app that doesn’t automatically scale up the PDF to fill their available screen space. (for example when embedded in a Slack channel)

    Current options for PDF export, either via the board export or individual frame export options, produce extremely poor quality linework from vector-based PDFs within the board.

    Hello. I would like to have a link for my client to access my board with limited rights to have an online meeting together but I don’t want him to have access to this board for ever. It can be useful to limitate the lifetime of a link.  Richard.

    Right mouse button - pie menu for secondary tools.Open

    For example, I use a pencil (p) to use the eraser / marker I need to go into the tools ...very far away/too many actions...instead, I would press the right mouse button and select a marker ! Or shapes (s) or a frame (f) - press the right mouse button and select what you need via the pie menu !Thank you for so much wonderful place !💖p.s.     Access - add Download to the View optionOpen

    I’d like an access level that allows people I add to both View and Download content, without Edit or Comment access. Use case: I have a board with several frames of content, and I want viewers to also be able to download or copy/paste what is in a frame or frames. I don’t want them to edit the content (accidentally or with purpose) or to add comments.

    Hide comments when Frame is hiddenOpen

    Hiding a Frame does not hide the comment elements. Not sure if this is intentional or not, but will be good to have even the comments hidden when Frame is marked to hide.

    Ability to disable the collaboration button webcam / chat / share desktop with 1 button on Admin SettingsOpen

    We use other tools here and do not want to use 3rd party tools from other vendors where we have not signed a privacy agreement.I think since Covid-19 every company has Zoom / Teams / Webex or other for such purposes. If someone needs this can you enable / disable it in admin settings then?

    Toggle on/off button for embedding (Allowing one or multiple frames to be viewed)Open

    I’d like to be able to embed single frames on a board without the user being able to scroll to the next as an option. I’m embedding the frames in websites, procedural manuals, etc. But I just want to show that each frame where appropriate based on the content. I don’t want them to get confused by being able to click to the next frame. And creating multiple boards isn’t conducive as I could have 50 boards for 1 lesson. Instead I’d like to create one board with multiple frames so that it’s easier to keep the information easier to manage on Miro and other platforms. Also, I could export the frame as PDF but that means that every time I update the frame, I have to go in and update multiple websites, documents, etc. By having it embedded, it’s automatically updated. Does this helps?

    Option to “draw” even without an active stylusOpen

    Hi, I had a thought about the “hopefully soon yet still-in-the-future” stylus/Apple Pencil support in Miro…I’m not sure how close the developers are to rolling out this feature, or if this has been though of already, but I think an option to “draw” even without an active stylus will still be necessary. I’m worried that the new feature will be an “either-or” situation where if your stylus/Apple Pencil dies (or if you wanted to use a non-capacitive stylus) that you will be unable to draw on things in Miro…Hopefully this has already been thought of and there will be a third option...

    Adding footnotesOpen

    I would like to be able to add footnotes so that I can specify requirements to an item on the board. NowI try to do this by adding a 1,2,3 etc. in a circle with background color and write the note somewhere near the item. I would be easier is there was a dedicated footnote option that jumps to the note when you click on a number.

    Tree-structure for boardsOpen

    Hi,we have been using Miro a few years and love it, we have around 600 boards now. However, we are finding it more and more problematic to arrange boards so we can find our work. Is there any way to create "main projects" like "Marketing" with Sub-projects like "Presentations", "Displays" etc.We have sooo many boards, and with only the name and creation date to base search on, we have trouble finding the latest version of work.We need a tree-structure for Main Projects with Sub projects.

    Option to remove the totaling tag within the "Weekly Agenda" templateOpen

    Hello!I´ve started to use Miro as a project planning tool. As I am, and maybe others, using the “Weekly Agenda” template as our schedule solution. The totaling tag becomes quite noisey. Would be very appreciated if I were given the option to either remove or hide it.  Thank you,Issa.

    Feature: "fast track" click between cards that are linked with an arrowOpen

    I have a growing board of cards that are all linked together with arrows. Some cards are quite far apart on my board, so it can take some effort to zoom out and to trace the long arrow to the next card. It would be a great feature if you could click on the arrow line or do some other basic action that would zip you over to the connected card. The “link to object” command isn’t very helpful here because my cards are already linked to other objects and it would be time consuming to link every card to another card when they are connected with an arrow. I hope my comment makes sense. thx.

    Frames Color's move to backOpen

    I would like to change the color of a frame and move it to back or move it forward. I would like the control of having text and graphics laying on top of a frame while having a large colored graphic behind the frame. Currently I am busy with lots of workarounds making the frame white with a back ground color.

    Transclusion in and between maps + inclusion of text and comments in the objects themselves!Open

     What?These two feature asks are really only useful as a package for this use case. In this picture you see two identical visual representations of a web page: “IQSS-OS RCE Info Page”. These are in-fact the same item shown twice on the same page (that’s the transclusion).  In this example, the two “copies” are on the same page, but it would be just as important to support this across maps! These pictures have an associated description and list of comments (discussion) associated with them.  Any changes made to any property of one will be made in the other. (that’s the inclusion of the information in the objects themselves)  The attached picture is from another tool. It’s intended to show transclusion within a single Miro Frame.Context:We are deep into a UX design. We are collaborating with Miro.   We finished one proposed flow in a frame and want to do a second version and then a third. In the second frame, (the second version of the flow) some of the depicted pages (represented as pictures) will remain the same. The way we depict those pages that remain the same today is that we make a copy of that original frame with all of it’s depicted pages and start reworking things.The Problem:In the first flow we put a lot of work into discussions of particular pages, their content, why we want them to look a certain way, etc. All of that is lost as soon as we make a copy. All of it.The current work-around:Go back to the original copy of the image and re-read the associated notes and comments. Not ideal. Not everyone goes back and does the due diligence and the conversation can get off track over time. Link back to the first version from each follow-on copy of that image. How I’ve seen this done succesfully.In another tool I’ve used:Each object on the board has a set of included properties that include a description, a label, and comments. The transcluded copies  all act as if they are the original so that each displays the comments and has the same label and any changes made to any of those items in the first are made to all. Transclusion in another tool shown as two “copies” of an object in the same frame See also:Does miro support the idea of an icon with attached text?     Adjustable Background Grid for squared A4 Paper Like FormatOpen

    Hi,I use Miro for distance Learning in math or Physics, therefor it would be great if it would be possible to change the size of the Background Grid (not the Table/Grid widget). Currently the size is constant and if you choose an A4 frame the size of one grid square is like ¼ of the page, instead of ~5mm (like a squared DIN A4 Paper).This would be a huge development for nicely formatted A4 documents.
