What do you wish you could do with Miro? Add your dream features and support other ideas by upvoting them.
The “improved” voting announced 10/14 removed the ability to name a voting session. Being able to name a saved session helps for later quick access and reference to that specific session, rather than having to hunt and peck … “was that one Voting 5? or Voting 7?” This ability was introduced a year earlier and now has been removed.
I learned through support, that Miro currently does not render pages from URLs that require a login. E.g. LinkedIn profiles, that were set to non-public, which you can see in your browser, but Miro fails to resolve. The same would be true for any page that requires a login, like anything a user might have in their Intranet. According to Miro support, “this is indeed not possible (neither with the Web Page Capture feature, or the Miro Web Clipper)”I’d like to suggest an enhancement, where links can be embedded and are rendered with the user’s credentials (if they are willing to supply them, of course).
We are attempting to work with large story maps, journey maps and service blueprints as a way to document details about our customer journey, features and capabilities. However, we are really finding the search challenging to use.For example, we might have many pain points along a journey that could be solved by implementing an integrated dialing system - we can tag all of those pain points with the capability “CTI”. Then I want to go to search and search for all stickies that have the tag “CTI” so we can easily visualize where in the journey the impact will happen. As well as, go step by step through each one to discuss use cases and scenario. The challenge, you can see in the screenshot. When I am focused in the search bar all of the stickies with the “CTI” tag are nicely highlighted. However, when I go to click on the first one and walk through them I lose the highlighting as soon as I click out of the search bar.I would love if the searching and filtering would persist so that I can easily navigate the board with the stickies and I am focused on constantly highlighted.Search nicely highlights all relevant content. But quickly lose this highlighting when trying to navigate board.
Automatically whole team gets this Weekly digests where other boards are mentioned (and be accessible with a click distance). Each person can individually unsubscribe from these emails, but in our case we have customers added to our Team plan and we don’t want them to receive any weekly digests. We need a way to disable the Weekly Digest (and possible other notifications regarding boards activity or teams members) from admin level, either for whole team or for certain members.
If I am creating conceptual 2d diagrams usinf Miro shapes/ objects, and will be using the same shape/ object over and over again, it would be cool if I could create a side clipboard that can store multiple object-templates, so that instead of having to keep finding the objects and copy/ paste them, I can open the clipboard with the bare bones version of whatever the object is
Exporting as image to a file is fine, but often that exported image is immediately opened, copied to the clipboard, and pasted as an image into another application--chat systems, wikis, documents. The file is never used again. It would be lovely to remove the intervening steps, the launching of a Preview/image viewer app, and the clutter of the exported files and simply export to clipboard.
hi miro. we discuss development and post production of pictures via miro. the more colour control we have, the better. once pictures are uploaded to miro and viewed in the app, embedded colour tags lose their value. it would be great, if you can implement colourmanagement. regards, niko
Hello, Miro updated recently and now I no longer have the ability to end voting early. Can you PLEASE bring back that feature?? Thank you 🙏
PROBLEMI use the Miro app on the iPad in the classroom to teach Engineering Mechanics. The iPad is connected to a projector. Students can either look at the projection screen or have the board open on their own devices at the same time. So far the experience has been excellent. One thing is annoying, though: Sometimes when I explain something to my students on the projection screen or when they are trying to solve an exercise on their own, the iPad goes to sleep, while the Miro app is open. I then have to go back to the iPad and unlock it, to show the board again. Depending on the memory pressure on the device, it looks like the Miro app has to reload the whole board. This is very disruptive.POSSIBLE SOLUTIONI would like to have an option that can be toggled, where the user can select to prevent the iPad from going to sleep.
Rather than rolling out new features, please focus on the performance of search. When looking for a board or trying to add a user, search is very, very slow for a larger organization.
I have been using different design tools and almost all of them have one thing in common that you can navigate the canvas using right click rather then left. Currently the left click is confusing because you select object and navigate both using the same left click. I believe by doing it on right click you can solve this where right click pressed can help navigate but a simple right click can show object properties. This is somewhat an industry practice now. Please look into this.
Would lover for you to start an integration with Rally to include pulling Features down… Also bisynchronous updates would be terrific...
Sería excelente para los que no tenemos un refinado el ingles, el añadir una configuración al idioma español en la Miro App.
A killer app would be the ability for a board owner to start (initiate) the playback of embedded video for all board participants/guests. Sort of what Netflix users are able to do on Chrome as they synchronize the watching of content while in different places on different machines.
I would find it very useful, if setting the insertion cursor into a word (klicking into the word) would suffice to make that word bold afterwards instead of marking the whole word or double-klicking. This would save ma a lot of time. :-)
My password on Miro is not one I want to be able to remember. If I want to login on a display (plasma Screen, TV, or monitor), it takes me forever to type in my user name and password.I would like to be able to create a temporary password from my app that will allow me a single time sign on: I would open the display, go to miro.com\login and select a new option, “Quick Login”I enter my username and say 4 digit number (generated from any account/board where I am logged in) This number would allow a single login against my account within say 10 minutes of being issued. This would open Miro (on the Board that I have raised the number?) and allow me to display that board: I maybe could select the part of my board (from my device) which I wanted to show and then would display any changes made by any logged in users on that board. The TV monotor beconmes a dumb terminal and shows part of my borad. It does not have to accept any inputs. This would be very useful to consultants like me who meet up with clients in a meeting room and want to brainstorm ideas or processes using miro on say my tablet / laptop.Where i can, I will cast my screen or connect my laptop to the monitor, but that is not always very quick or easy to do!
We have some large Teams (300+ users). Bulk-inviting Team members is really useful for us - we can easily paste a list of email addresses from a spreadsheet.Within these Teams we have some large projects (100+ users). Adding Team Members to Projects is a laborious manual process. It would be helpful if we could paste a list of email addresses in the share dialogue:Otherwise we need to click each checkbox while consulting an external list. This process is time consuming and error-prone.Perhaps the pasted list could be checked for existing members, who could be invited to the Project in a click, and for addresses which were not yet Team members, with the option to invite to Project. As an academic institution we need to go through this process each academic year, with hundreds of Projects, so such a feature would be most welcome!
