I have a lot of ideas I started in a miro board and didn’t finish. This creates litter of “Untitled” boards. I have to delete these boards by handMulti select and delete would be step 1 in my mind step 2 would be also permission management in bulk. Select boards 1 through n and set to no access or team access, etc. thank you
default (left) and wraped by 5 characters (right)Critical feature / Nice to have feature ?Critical featureUse casesWhen you make many sticky notes in a row When you create a lot of sticky notes by pasting text cells in a spreadsheetGoalYou can make many sticky notes in Japanese easily.Current problemYou can not make many sticky notes in Japanese easily. It’s because Japanese text isn’t wrapped automatically (Japanese text isn’t separated with spaces). You have to:Click to select a sticky note Click once more to edit text Move cursor and push Enter where you want to wrap text If the text is long, you have to wrap a few timesIt’s not easy.Furthermore, you have to wrap texts in cells in a spreadsheet before pasting them into Miro.Pasting spreadsheet cells function is very useful but...These are sticky notes created by the pasting cells. Can you read them?Wrapped before paste Comparison between unwrapped and wrappedSuggestionIt would be good when number of characters in a row is 5 -7 in my opinion. The text should be wrapped automatically when the number is more than them.If there is a too long text, the number of characters in a row should be changed more than 7.Suggestion (Ideal)It would be ideal if the long text can be separated by recognized phrases with morphological analysis. Thank you!
Hey all, Simple request and the title sums it up. The additional feature I’d love to see added is that by default if anyone presses the “HOME” key the user would zoom into the predefined Start View set for the board. Nice, clean and once implemented will stop me wondering “Wtf...” when through habit I hit HOME and nothing happens.
Are there any plans to add to the document extraction function?Specifically, due to different layouts and design of sections on boards - I often need pages to extract downwards rather than horizontally - it would save me so much time if the option was available on the tool bar. Many Thanks!Adam
I wish student could add their stuff, and when everybody has finished, I show everyone the stuff of everybody and we can discuss about studends stuff.thankshttps://community.miro.com/got-a-question-ask-the-community-45/validate-guest-proposal-2128
It would be great to have an adjustable width slider / flexibility on the Frames tray in the desktop app. I haven’t tested the web version.
Dear Miro Support team,Dear community,I am in close cooperation with NEXT to build-up a user-research data platform with NextApp.We would like to access our password-protected Miro boards in NextApp via the Miro-App.However, this seems to be not possible currently. Is it a bug?Due to security reasons we are only allowed to use passsword-protected boards. And I assume we are not the only one with this approach.I would very much appreciate if you could check on this problem. Thank you very much for your support and the great work you are doing.Best regards, Toni
I often have frames in frames, where the outer frame encompasses all elements of a workshop, while nested frames include objects for a specific tasks within my workshop. When I select a couple of objects inside an existing (outer) frame and click the “create frame” command (right mouse), a new frame is created, but the objects I selected are not embedded/added to this new frame, but are still considered part of the outer frame. This means I need to select the objects and ‘wiggle’ them a bit, to make Miro understand that the are considered to be part of the new frame. Solution: Miro should be able to identify what objects need to be added to the new frame automatically, reducing confusion when trying to move the new frame (and no objects follow), or removing the need to manually add the objects to the new frame by ‘wiggeling’/moving the objects a tiny bit within the new frame.
Hello, Please consider reinstating the 99 hours option for voting that was in place before the voting upgrade took place. Ideally we would like to extend voting past 99 hours but would be happy to have the option of the 99 hours back. We did need to switch to dot voting because of this limitation. Thank you for your consideration
It would be great to have a native integration with Linkedin Sales navigator !
When I use Miro, I often copy and paste stickys. More so now that “double click to create last widget” has been removed. (BOO). So I spend most of my time in Miro creating journey maps with stickys and connection lines. I’d be following a journey and realise that I need a new sticky for the next step. I’d love to be able to copy a sticky and have the new sticky connect to the one I’ve just copied it from. It could be a CMD+Option+Drag shortcut, since I’m already hitting option, CMD just lets me connect the sticky or not. This is different from clicking on the hovering dot thing, because I get to place the sticky in exactly the place that its needed while connecting it all at once, it’s also a lot faster. Its a micro UX improvement, but would greatly help me with productivity. I end up going back over an entire journey and connecting the stickys individually, which is a pain.Anyone else with similar ideas?
I would like to create a template box to insert and auto scale and crop an image. Similar to indesign
In Miro, I like to use the automated bullet numbering, if that is what it called. Starting tying a list with numbers. Looks like this:Frosty the snowman Jingle Bells Deck the hallsBUT I also like spaces/line breaks between the numbers when I have a bit of content. (granted the example above is short) Miro doesn’t currently allow this, when a line break is insert, it starts the numbering over. So it looks like this:Frosty the snowmanJingle BellsDeck the hallsI’d like it to be able to do this:Frosty the snowmanJingle Bells Deck the halls.
The email-address in the text in the message “Send invitation” must be able to edit by a miro administrator.“Only members of your team can edit boards. These people are not members of xxx team. To invite these users as editors, please ask the Team Admin at firstname.surname@enterprise.com to add them to the team.”It's not helpful when there the first name appears because of the alphabetical order. Sometimes another person is responsible for licenses or invitations. And his or her address has to be added.
I wish it would be possible to select objects with ApplePen on iPad as it was possible before. To select objects I had to keep apple Pen in one point and then drag it to define a selection. Now if I do the same, I get context menu. I figured out that I still. can select with my finger (same gesture), but it is a lot of friction to switch from finger to ApplePen.
Have a shape/ sticky that allows for an issue tracker hyperlink at the top, the issue summary in body of shape/ sticky and a box within that for a number to indicate story points. It is something that can be made manually but I’m sure it is such a common use case it would be worth having it as a ready to go shape or special sticky. Useful for PI planning or Sprint planning and other visuals of Agile teams.
