It would be useful/helpful to have smart guides and rulers to align objects, text boxes, etc.
Could you create a Tree connector tool please? This would make it much easier to create and amend hierarchical diagrams like:Site maps Organization charts Family treesThe current templates for site maps and organization charts come with a fixed number of shapes at each level of the tree. You can’t easily add additional shapes to that level because there is no tree connector.Basically, there needs to be something like the tree connector tools you find in Visio and other MS apps.
I think the title is fairly self-explanatory. I’d like for anonymous board editors to be able to rename themselves on entry into a board through a shared link. Name assignment only needs to be stable for the duration of the access to the board. Think Zoom where users can assign themselves a name on the fly for the duration of a meeting. This is especially important for collaborative work on white boards in larger groups. I work in a nonprofit that regularly convenes partner organization and we routinely have groups of 40-60 people in virtual meetings now. Not being able to distinguish who “Anonymous Bear” is compared to “Anonymous Owl” is extremely confusing (and getting them all paid users is not practical as well as cost-prohibitive). I know Mural is working on this feature for release in the upcoming weeks and it would be extremely valuable.
This feature should be controllable for business/enterprise customers (on/off) as it presents some security risk of users sharing data or accidental data loss outside of the business or with someone they are not supposed to inside the business. Granted this would be similar to a user sharing their password with someone, but still worth the risk mitigation.I also think this feature should present the user with clearer warnings that they are actually logging into their account on the screen, not just sharing it. This means the screen user (if not the actual user) has the full access of the person logged in.Maybe also prevent this feature from working on devices in a different network (limiting possibility of someone sharing the code and allowing a person to log in from a remote location).
While selecting text, using shortcut 'Cmd+V' twice should paste the text right behind the original one as other text editing apps work. For now, we need to stop selecting text in order to past it by clicking somewhere else.
One of the best features IMO is the “Bring everyone to me” feature when sharing or running a session with multiple participants. The constant thing I hear in my head when I click this button is Scorpion from Mortal Combat saying “Get over here”.Would be very cool if Miro somehow licensed this and used it with the feature :)
I use Miro throughout my day. Most of the time I have to log in again due to timeouts. Since I do not have an enterprise plan, I cannot influence the settings. It is the only tool that makes me do that and it frustrates me every time. Please, increase the timout to at least the reasonable timeframe of a workday!
Buenos días. Me gustaría que la aplicación tuviera la versión en español, para poder sacarle mayor rendimiento y agilizar los procesos de creción. Gracias.
Hi, We would like to have an option to automatically reassign the board ownership to a specific users via UI instead of the account owner. It is currently reassigning everything to the account owner who doesn’t have any visibility or idea what’s on the boards and who should have access to it. As we’re using user provisioning, we end up with a lot of content reassigned to that person. Ultimately, refining per team, to the team admin or owner would be even better.
During various meetings, people add Sticky notes. We would copy them to next section for discussion or other stuff. When updating the copied Sticky notes doesn’t reflect original sticky note. Each time we spend time to update. If there is a way to use SymLink so that updating the Stick note in the board auto updates in other locations with in the board?
Hi,It would be nice to be able to rename a group, just like you can with images. Thanks
Hi, I’m a new user and would like to see a possible feature like: -User uploads his own schema in .jpg-The Miro system analyze it and divide the elements into the separate object-The User further can re-create a new schema, using this objects Simple:-Any .jpg upload > Ai Analyze > Any element is separated and can be re-moved I think, some Ai should be used in this scenario. Merci.
When you set the permission that only Company admins can invite new licensed users. It removes the ability for Team admins to invite new users to their team, including already licensed users. This puts unnecessary burden on the Company admins, and makes Team admins pretty un-effective.Please can we have a separate permission that allows Team admins to add already licensed users to their Team, but still retain the permission that Company admins can only invite new licensed users.
PLEASE can you add a facility to Archive a Project?Surely not that complicated and would make Board and Project Management so much more manageable. Please - I have noted a related topic, but I was unable to reply and add my voice to that so have strted my own topic to reflect the other is a year old
Need more info on the Info tooltip:It doesn’t really help to know who did what, under a scenario as typical as this:1- Board owner creates placholder stickies (Created by)2- Somebody adds actual and meaningful notes to the stickies3- Somebody else does something else to the stickies4- Board owner rearranges the stickies (Last modified by)Problem: I can’t identify who did 2 and 3.
Only have to click once to adjust the size of boundary boxes (for shapes, notes, text). I usually have to click two or three times before Miro will let me change the proportions of the box--even though it shows the double-ended arrow when I hover over the edge of the box. So frustrating.
Hi,In the security settings there are two options for the session idle timeout: 30 minutes, and infinite.Unfortunately, both of these values are not satisfactory. 30 minutes is too short, it ends up annoying users. Not having a timeout at all is great for usability, but increases the risk of unauthorized access. I would like to suggest a third option there, which is to require users to login just once a day. Or, alternatively, permit custom values in minutes / hours / days. Thanks in advance.
Scenario:I have a Figma file with multiple pages that I want to show in a Miro board Problem:The Figma embed viewer does not have a page selector Desired outcome:Visitors to the Miro board can see every page of the Figma file Current workaround:Paste the link into a text node and make it really big Problems with current workaround:Visually unappealing Less context for board visitor Possible the visitor will not return to the board Recommended solution:Add a “convert to link preview” action in the context menu for link embeds—users would be able to go to the Figma file directly Other possible solutions:Add a page selector to the Figma embed viewer Allow embeds with multiple pages to be split into one embed per page (similar to how PDFs can be split)
Tags can be used when searching/filtering, but first a tag has to be placed on a stickie/card and that can be tedious to do. This ideas is to enable the capability of setting up automatic tagging/untagging when a sticky or a card are moved into a frame or a box. Here one would create a frame then go into the menu for the frame in question to enable this and select what tag should be placed on the stickies/cards that come into the frame, and/or if that tags should replace some other tag. Behind the scenes I presume this capability exists, i.e. a card moved from one column to another column in a Kanban gets some attributes updated from e.g. “In progress” to “Done”.This can support many use cases, but my use case is for more general user created Kanban boards that allows a mix of stickies and cards, and when stickies go into different parts of this custom kanban, then and the cards aren’t rigidly lined up in long narrow columns as in the built in Kanban board. And one could search/filter based on those tags.
