Protect the IP / Copyright of board designs and Images by updating 'Copy board content' permissions to be more granularOpen

Problem: Currently the permissions we can set via ‘Copy Board Content’ is a catch-all for:Copying or downloading images Copying native content Exporting the board Duplicating board Making board template. These are mostly individual functionalities that shouldn’t be treated the same. ExamplesE.g.I want participants to be able to copy / paste their working content to one of their own boards, but I don’t want them to be able to duplicate the board or make a template because the original workshop design (methods + visuals) is the author’s Intellectual Property (IP) E.g. I want people to be able to export a final pdf of their work, but I don’t wish them to be able to download the individual high resolution images that are either the author’s IP, or the copyright was purchased for this project only, with specific contractual obligations that the images won’t be freely accessible to othersSuggestion:I’d suggest a more granular approach that buckets the permissions into 3 dropdowns to serve the similar use cases:Copy native Miro content / Widgets Copy or download images / Export the board or frames as an image Duplicate board / Make template / Download .rtb backupBenefitsEncourages higher quality visual design knowing the contents can’t be stolen More control Keeps everyone legal
