    Precise text rotation angle (turn-off rotation alignment)Open

    Hi there! I am using Miro for drawing some complex geometrical-based schemes to describe ITIL-concepts.When I try to align text according triangle side I stuck with sticky alignment which forces text to freeze rotation arounbd 45 degrees. And if I got triangle side angle 48-50 degrees I have no chance for perfect alignment. Please add any method I could use to do that. Sticky rotation aligment freeze 45 degrees to “help” me but just mess aroundFinal figures and scheme I am trying to complete

    Connection Line Snap Alignment with Objects when MovingOpen

    Want to recognize first that this request is distinct from moving endpoints, which does bring up the snap alignment guides. This is specific to clicking and dragging the entire connection line.It would be super helpful if clicking and dragging the connection line would snap align to other objects. This request is made doubly helpful because moving connection points carries with it the risk of connecting to another object by mistake.Thanks kindly!

    Miro R Studio/R Markdown IntegrationOpen

    Miro is one of my all time favorite applications. I use it for both work and keeping my life organized. I’ve found ways through the community and my own tinkering and I think I’m using Miro is some pretty unique ways. I think oftentimes people only use Miro for brainstorming or presentations, but I think it could have some great applications in the data science world with the right integrations!I work in social welfare research and use Miro for a lot of applications, a major one being project evaluation report-building. My colleagues and I have begun using R coding to automate some of our reporting processes including data visualizations. As it stands right now I have to transfer the data from R Studio, into Excel, create a chart, and copy and paste that chart into my Miro report. It would be so handy and save me a ton of time if Miro had some sort of RStudio/RMarkdown integration for transferring data and code into my reports so I can skip that tedious middle step. I also think this could make Miro more appealing to data scientists and folks who work heavily with data.

    As a Miro user, I want to be able to convert multiple stickies into Jira cards with a bulk action so that I can be more efficient. -- Given that a Miro teams user creates multiple stickies during a long range planning or backlog grooming exercise without using the cards integration When they need to convert those stickies into stories in a specific JIRA backlog Then they can select more than one sticky, select convert, and turn all selected stickies into JIRA stories with one action.

    When I follow a person (in green here) AND click “Hide collaborators cursers” I still want to see the curser of the person I am following. This way I can focus on who im following and hide the movements of all other participants.

    Keyboard shortcut for bulk modeOpen

    I love to use bulk mode when taking notes in Miro. I wish that I could get into bulk mode without having to use my mouse. I’d be partial to using Shift+N as the keyboard shortcut.

    Facilitator timeboxing planning and monitoringOpen

    As a frequent workshop faciltator, I’d love for the ability to pre-plan a minute-by minute agenda (i.e. timebox plan) before I hit “GO” for a workshop. Then as I hit those pre-defined milestone timings, for me to get some sort of visual nudge/notification that at this point I should be starting X portion. Bonus points if it could dynamically adjust the remaining time boxes if we’re running behind. Perhaps if I get to those pre-mapped milestones, there’s an option to extend by x minutes…. and it adjusts the remaining time boxes accordingly to make up for the time. Example, for a 60 minute workshop, broken into 4 15 minute chunks…. If I hit minute 15, and I indicate that I need to extend that slot by 5 more minutes (pushing me to 20 minutes), it would dynamically adjust the remaining three timeboxes to go from 15 minutes down to 13.33 minutes. There’s a lot of great things to monitor when facilitating such interactive sessions, but I do find the time awareness challenging, even given the timer that everyone can see. I’d like the option for this facilitator timer to be visible to only myself.

    Alt+drag duplicate bugOpen

    Many applications (including Miro) supports holding alt-button while clicking and dragging the element you want to duplicate. Great!What’s not great is that Miro is doing this slightly differently than every other app I know of. With Miro you have to do it in this order:Hold alt Hold mouse click Drag mouse Release mouse click Release altIf you release the alt button on step 3 or 4 the item is moved instead of duplicated. This is so much pain. Can you please fix it? What I want:Hold alt Hold mouse click Drag mouse (Optional) Release alt Release mouse click (Optional) Release altThank you for your time

    Send Miro Comments to Slack channelOpen

    Hello :)I’m trying to get Miro comments to appear in a dedicated Miro Slack channel I’ve set up.We have similar channels like this for Figma, Jira etc.All I can do is open the Miro slack app and see the feed there. However I want my entire team to be able to see the incoming comments.

    It will be great if Miro can consider adding rulers and smart guides for objects and texts. It is very useful to do low fidelity wireframing, staying true to scale as per the high fidelity counterpart.

    Limited Sharing of Objects (Dots) for Visitors/GuestsOpen

    I have created a workshop board where Guests and Visitors are invited into Polls. In one of the polls the visitors are to place Red Dots on Sticky notes by moving them from one location to another on the board.  As a number of visitors are not familiar with MIRO - especially those accessing through the Mobile App - they end up changing the shape of the dot - this spoils the workshop experience of other users. It will be nice if Visitors can be limited access to move the object but not change its shape.

    Search link textOpen

    I use Miro to collate ideas and use cases for innovation / ideation. This means I take a screenshot of a website and add a link to it. I recently tried searching for a website, expecting the search to include the text of links added to objects. However, the search feature does not seem to include links. Can this be added please?

    Filter Search to Grid textOpen

    When doing a search for text, you can filter to types of elements, however it doesn’t have grid as an option.  We have lots of text in grids, but can’t do a search just on the grids.  With lots of other elements on a board we need to be able to localise the search.

    Ability to lock tagsOpen

    The ProblemCurrently any change to a tag applies to the whole board (new tag, title or color change, and deletion). We are using Miro to run large workshops (75+ people at once, many of them novice Miro users) and find that tags often get accidentally deleted across the whole board. This results is confusion by team members who are working elsewhere on the board and see their tags disappear, and time lost as the facilitators have to go back and add in the tags after the fact (in hopefully the right place).The (Possible) SolutionIt would be great to manage tags as the owner of the board so that any of the pre-defined tags could be locked down for people to add/remove from objects but not delete or edit.

    More Sticky colorsOpen

    I love the sticky feature so much! It makes running workshops an absolute slam dunk! I often however have workshops for more than 16 people and like to have a different colour for every participant so I can track who said what. Please please please add the ability to create custom sticky colours or add additional colours to the collection

    Hi The search engine finds the text in which the searching phrase is found, but it does not highlight the searched phrase, can you add such a function for search bar on board? This will be helpful when searching for a phrase in text of a lot of content.

    Hi Team MiroI really miss a great option to download content as an vectorized file. I mean all the miro content (like post-it and such) is fine. But other data (in my case vectorized PDF) where I place you tools (i.e. post its) will be reduced to low quality pixel-data during the export. Sorry but I don’t understand that. Please optimize this feature.ThanxAli

    It would be great if I rename the image and it will save as the file name. Now - I can rename the image but when I download this image it has its old name.It will be great if the download file has the same name as it shows on MiroThank's

    Marking Sticky Notes with AuthorsDelivered

    I’d like the ability to add automatically the name of the author to a sticky note? That way, working and brainstorming with group of people I (we all) can directly see who posted which notes. It is already a challenge to teach customers/newbies enough of the tool in short order to get them to use sticky notes. Marina suggested adding tags but asking them to add tags is a hassle. People are firing off sticky notes in rapid fashion and we just want to ID them. It seems you could repurpose the tagging feature to auto add the author. Kiron suggested using the Activity List. This is helpful but not what we need. We want this to be a quick collabortive tool.

    Asynchronous Presentation ReivewOpen

    I appreciate the way you can use frames to walk people through a series of items as a presentation. This maps well to many people’s Powerpoint muscle memory.One common use of Powerpoint is to send the deck to someone who will review without a presenter in an asynchronous mode. I have found that sharing information in Miro can make it hard to replicate this Powerpoint experience. When a board has a lot of content, a link to the board, even one that starts at the right frame can be a recipe for asynchronous users to get lost and miss the point that a presentation might provide. I would love for there to be a way to send a link to someone where when accessing the link, they would see the board in presentation mode, with a preselected and ordered set of frames. Throughout they should be able to exit to the board in general and then easily jump back into the presentation, but the key is to make it easy for them to see the presentation like they would if they were watching a presenter walk them through it or if they were looking at a Powerpoint deck. I recognize that something somewhat like this could be achieved by copying the board and then deleting all frames not in the presentation (and non-framed items) and then sending a link to this board. The drawback of this is that this presentation board would get out of sync if changes are made on the original or vice versa.Another alternative would be to have an export option that would create a powerpoint with each  selected frame exported as an image and then placed on to a slide in the order of the frames. This would be able to get out of sync, but would make clear that it is a read-only copy and could quickly be recreated following a change.
