Many applications (including Miro) supports holding alt-button while clicking and dragging the element you want to duplicate. Great!
What’s not great is that Miro is doing this slightly differently than every other app I know of.
With Miro you have to do it in this order:
- Hold alt
- Hold mouse click
- Drag mouse
- Release mouse click
- Release alt
If you release the alt button on step 3 or 4 the item is moved instead of duplicated. This is so much pain. Can you please fix it?
What I want:
- Hold alt
- Hold mouse click
- Drag mouse
- (Optional) Release alt
- Release mouse click
- (Optional) Release alt
