    Miro Integration with FavroOpen

    It would be interesting to have Miro integrated with Favro, where we can select status in a Miro Board and it can reflect to Favro's Kanban.I can see there's Jira and Trello already, so I guess it would be a quite easy programming!

    It would be great to be able to pin objects or make them ‘sticky’ (entire frame or grouped objects) so that when you scroll, the objects stay on your screen.

    Individual links for drop down items in wireframesOpen

    For each item added to dropdowns in wireframes, I want to be able to associate links to them so that the mockup can be more functional. At the moment I have to add hidden rectangles on top of items in the dropdown menu to link to other frames

    Ability to add frames to a gridOpen

    The IdeaIt should be possible to add a frame into a grid cell.The ProblemYou often have a large collection of frames with an implied macro-structure. For example, when mocking UIs, you will have a collection of frames related to one feature/journey, and another collection related to another feature/journey. And these features may themselves have a structure.In order to organise your frames, you would like to be able to add them to a grid, which is advertised as Miro’s solution to macro-structuring. But this is impossible, as frames cannot be placed inside a grid.The SolutionMake it possible to add a frame inside a grid by drag-and-dropping it, or by copying the frame, selecting the grid cell, and pasting it inside.

    Adding colour to board tabsOpen

    I have about 10 boards ‘open’ at any one time, as I work across multiple teams and projects. When there are that many, it’d be great to be able to change the colour of the tab to indicate which project or group it belongs to.For example, here is a snip of some of the tabs I have open, representing 4 different projects. If I could, I’d change the Corporate ones to the same colour, and have Data and PPD the same colour.   Perhaps there’s a way to do this that I haven’t come across yet?

    Creating my first miro entity relationship diagram.I started with the example entity relationship diagram which has alternating white gray for the columns and the text is also left alignedHowever when I create new entity shapes by clicking on the dot to the left or right of a field, the next entity shape is defaulted to all white with text/content centered for both columnsIdeally the new shapes should adopt the same row, column color and text alignment properties for the first 3 rows

    Student AttendanceOpen

    I use Miro in my class in a college. I was looking for a way to take attendance and came up with the idea that I have created a frame with students names on a sticky note. Each session I ask students to vote for their names. That is how I take attendance and keep track of students participation in class. I feel like there could be better ways that Miro could help teachers to take attendance. This could be like a feature to track the student’s attendance throughout the course. Every session, I can ask students at a point during class to check in or something to capture their attendance in class. Will be a great help! Thanks.

    Board Search box and Home/End key behaviorOpen

    Update the search box to react to Home and End keys as they are more commonly used. For example “Ctrl+F” starts the search. After typing some search text, I would expect:“Home” move the cursor to the start of the search box “End” move the cursor to the end of the search box “Shift” + “Home” selects all search text before the cursor “Shift” + “End” selects all search text after the cursorHome and End currently move to the first and last search result.This would be helpful because I frequently use the search and constantly change the search criteria. The search saves the previous search criteria and it would be helpful to be able to use the expected behavior of the Home and End keys to quickly select all the search text and clear/change it using ONLY the keyboard.

    Keep Timer visible in [not-full screen] Presentation modeOpen

    What?My wish is to have the Timer visible when entering the simple (not the full-screen) Presentation mode in Miro.Why?I like to use Miro for presentations, I like the flexibility, the collaboration options, and the way I can add “free-floating” context surrounding the core content presented inside frames.I also like the way you can switch between Frames in Presentation mode, with the sliding/zooming animation, it adds dynamics to the presentation. This vibe is missing from the full-screen presentation mode, which is like sharing a PPT presentation.It’s always great to have an embedded Miro timer to time-box your presentation as well.But this Timer is not visible in the simple Presentation mode.How?Can I see the timer while in presentation mode?- If you enter full presentation mode, the timer will pop up in the top left corner of the screen.Timer is present in editor mode. Timer is present in full-screen presentation mode. I would like to keep the Timer visible in “not full-screen” presentation mode as well. To be honest, I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t be.Thank you.

    new User Access categoryOpen

    I would like to request a “Participant” user access category. “Commenter” doesn’t allow for enough and “Editor” gives too much access once a workspace has been created. “Participant” access level could allow the board owners/co-owners to select some interactive functionality for participants - such as adding stickies, dragging around non-locked items, adding icons, etc. - while not being able to inadvertently unlock and maneuver key components within a workspace.

    Replacement for grid mode in FramesOpen

    Automatically arranging and inserting items into a Frame using “grid mode” was one of my favorite features of Miro, and I was shocked to find it is being deprecated. I wish there was more information on the cryptic note that it “did not work as expected” as a justification for removing it, but alas. I used this constantly for doing exercises like card sorting and visually collating notes and references into buckets. Auto resizing tables works horribly for this (especially with URL links). It requires too much precision, it is a pain to try to actually move a table around, and I don’t always want buckets immediately adjacent, etc. I certainly do not have the patience to manually ask Miro to arrange or snap to grid every time I add something. I’m on my knees begging for a version of this feature to be restored or replaced with similar functionality. Ideally we could have something like a “buckets” or “cluster” object that we can easily and crudely drag-and-drop objects onto (or insert between existing objects) with a categorical label and (optional?) bounding background.I find this critical for doing virtual brainstorming, sorting, and ongoing reference/idea collection.

    Allow SCIM to deprovisioning all type of usersOpen

    We're getting a SCIM error message from Miro.It's called: "Conflict. Errors reported by remote server: Any account in organization must have at least one admin" We want to be able to deprovision any type of user, even if they are orphaned admins on Teams.As Miro Super Admin/Company Admin, we can add/remove user any time. So, no need this business condition for SCIM.

    Restrict pdf downloads from NOTEOpen

    If the sharing settings restrict copying of board content to the board owner only, then exporting images or PDFs from the board will not be possible.However, the notes function will still allow PDF export. Is it possible to restrict this?

    Default Assignee as Unassigned in Jira CardsOpen

    When creating new issues in our Jira instance, we have default assignee as Unassigned. That promotes the idea that anyone can create an issue in Jira. The team typically self-assigns after discussing new work, and understand the ask.When creating issues with Jira Cards, the assignee is defaulted to whomever created the issue unless you search for someone else. It would be great if when the field is left blank in Jira Cards it defaults to unassigned. Even better if unassigned were the default in Jira Cards.

    miroで自分でクリックしたときには、下記の画像のように | がついて、日本語にうまく対応しています。 ただ、次にtabを押すと | が消えて、最初に入力した文字がかなではなく英語になってしまいます。これを直していただければ、今後もmiroを使い続けられるのですが、これがけっこう不便になっているので他のツールも検討しています。ぜひこちら修正していただけると幸いです。よろしくお願いいたします

    Advanced Support for Wacom Graphic TabletsOpen

    I want Miro to support the use of the Wacom Intuos Pro graphic tabletdrawing without spikes, i.e. pen input to be rendered well (and you answered in another thread here 5 months ago that you don't intend to expand these features → so what's that looking like today? real time rendering of illustrations in video conferences , to use the tablet with Miro like a whiteboard where you can illustrate ideas and lofi designs while in a conversation with others online (also mentioned as not working in another thread here) using the shortcut buttons on the table to call up functions like draw, create a note etc in MiroIn the creative / design industry this is needed to use Miro!I want to be able to have a workshop or meeting with others online and write on a whiteboard, put post-its up and use the capabilities of my graphic tablet / the similarity to using a whiteboard manually without being restricted by only a mouse and a keyboard .When will you add these functionalities to your product?New tag → # graphic tablet support!!!!

    Automatically add object to frame when creating the frame from the object's context menuOpen

    Hi there,perhaps I haven’t figured out how to use frames properly, but here is my use case:I prepare lessons with images and tasks (mainly pdf-documents) and place them on the board. Then I use the object’s context (three point) menu to create a fitting frame in order to hide the content for later. What is highly frustrating is the fact that the object is not automatically assigned as a “member” of the frame. I have to manually drag the object a little in order to be included. If not the object may be selected even if the frame is hidden and won’t be moved together with the frame.I think it’s a nuisance having to do this manually and would expect it to be automated.Please advise, if there is another way to accomplish this already.Thank you in advanceRalph

    Additional mind map functionalityOpen

    I came to Miro from MindNode. Although Miro offers a lot of similar functions, I wish Miro’s mind mapping navigation using the keyboard to be as comparable to MindNode. The main things I miss from MindNode are automatic realignment of nodes and keyboard shortcuts like Cmd + arrow keys to move child nodes up and down the tree. These features really sped up my workflow when I had them

    Notes should match the scale you are operationOpen

    In each Miro I’m working different “scales” are applied. Sometimes we start with strong zooms and other times some peer uses a small zoom. This leads to the rest of the colaboration to operate in that size scale.Everytime I double click for a note or an icon, they are allocated in the miro scene in a standard size that typically is not in line with the rest of the other elements. Then I’ve to zoom in/out to get the element and rescale it to match the other things in the board.To-Be:We would double click and the Note will automatcally match the other elements. Would improve the UX

    Design gridsOpen

    I think having a way to grid frames would be an amazing feature to have! That way when you’re setting up presentations, you can make sure all elements lay cohesively in the correct place! Similar to how you can pull margins in to indesign documents, I wish I was able to do that on each frame of my 168 frame presentation I’m currently working on.

    Restrict number of instruments for visitorsOpen

    As I always work with children on Miro, I sometimes struggle keeping discipline because of their interest of various opportunities on the board. So, I do wish to have an opportunity to restrict number of instruments for visitors. For example, to choose only pen for a certain board.

    Sticky CounterOpen

    When reporting on a process improvement we’ve undertaken through Miro, it’s is helpful to have some salient statistics about the process, such as “we conducted 53 interviews and generated 748 ideas.”    Currently, (unless there’s a feature I’m unaware of) this requires a manual count of sticky notes, which is cumbersome. I’d like a “sticky counter” feature that would allow me to highlight an area of a board, and get a count of the sticky notes in that area.   It’s not a game-changer, but I feel like that would be a handy tool.   Relatedly, it would be useful to be able to count stickies by their tag, e.g. how many from this person, how many from that person, etc.
