    Translate directly in MiroOpen

    I think it would be very handy if it would be possible to translate e.g. postid's or text directly on your miro board.  I think of it as a google translate addition to your board.

    Add ability to bulk delete Team membersOpen

    I’m a post-secondary educator whose students change every semester.  If there’s only 50, it’s annoying to go in and delete them each one at a time under the “three dots”, but when I have 100+ students it’s very time consuming.  You can select multiple users at once using the checkboxes; I would like to have an option to select all users (deselect myself and my coteachers) and then delete the selected users.Definitely a “nice to have”, not a necessity to my ability to use Miro.

    Stop using right click for navigation around the boardOpen

    Hi, I really love Miro but find it incredibly frustrating having to use right click to move around the board. It has ruined my mental model for all other software I use. I find myself accidentally right click-ing to move around in PDFs and other documents which then brings up menu items. Its especially frustrating when I am presenting in workshops and go from Miro to another tool and accidentally right click.Please, please switch this back to be left click or at least give us options in the settings to change it ourselves.

    Hi Miro,thank you so much for doing such a great job with developing such a practical app and also for being so open to feedback. I have more than 10 years of experience in graphic design, including Adobe, Figma and Mural. I am pretty new to Miro but I know for a fact that in 2023, our team will be using it on a frequent basis in a global scale. So would love to kindly ask for some features in coming updates:Send backward ctrl + PgDn Bring forward ctrl + PgUp Select locked items on top of each other with ctrl + shift + drag Flip horizontally and vertically Link to function for grouped items

    Creating new TeamOpen

    On the Enterprise plan it is not possible for users on the account to create a new Team themselves, so only the company admins can do that. I think it could be much more efficient if the users could do that themselves. Then the company admin is not the bottleneck in a global organisation where we work around the clock in different geographical regions.

    Resetting my password is a risky business! I only have to enter the new password once, and I can’t view what I’ve typed in the box before clicking to set it as my new password </3What if I have a fine motor disability, or a visual impairment - how do I know I’ve typed accurately? I just have to type the new password as best I can, and then try it and hope for the best!

    Thin outline around a sticky noteOpen

    Hi, I find it a little confusing, when multiple sticky notes (of the same color) overlap, to see where one sticky note ends and another begins. Or which one is on top of another (unless also text overlaps).So I think I would find it nice if there was a thin, slightly visible outline around the sticky note. Nothing strong, just a hint of a line. Maybe this could even be an option in the sticky note tooltip, like with other types of objects or as a boolean toggle. Thanks, Petri

    3 key improvements for designersOpen

    Three things we need in Miro: 1 - the ability to draw polylines2- arrows that are less “snappy” -- i.e. more willing to point to things on a drawing rather than trying to snap to key points on the edges of a drawing3 - when you try to pan by using MMB while the pen tool is selected, it activates and starts drawing -- this is incredibly annoying, please fix!!!

    I mostly use the Recently active topics page (mostly the start page widget to be completely honest) when browsing through community posts.Like other pages—Product news, Ask the community, etc—the Recently active topics page has a simple sorting function. It would be nice to have the same function in the start page widget as well.But what would be even more nice is filter options in general, and a language filter in particular. Basically being able to filter posts based on language, to only show posts written in English for example.

    Allow enabling/disabling of rounded elbowsOpen

    It would be great if users could enable or disable the new rounded elbows. I was using Miro to create a sort of genealogical tree of falcons, and it looks rather messy with the rounded elbows. I do see how it makes other things look much better though!Below: a bit of a messy looking tree:

    Full featured mindmaps integrationOpen

    Please add bidirectional mindmap-integration e.g. for xmind, MindManager, iMindIn many projects, mindmaps help to develop a 360° view and include multiple perspectives. Mindmaps are great to collect and create one or multiple structure(s).For me, the mindmap tool provided within miro is no alternative to “true” mindmap tools, like xmind or MindManager. In addition, both tools allow to include different types of content into a mindmap, to collect many aspects,including references and further details. This helps to get a project running within short time, or quite often it’s enough to even organize a project (… with multidimensional maps)Luckily, it’s easy to migrate from one mindmapping tool to another – e.g. between xmind and MindManager, or to and from MindNode, just to name the ones I use most of the time. I am sure it would be quite straightforward to integrate a mindmap interface, similar to the one used between most of the tools, like xmind and MindManager. I also would love to add Miro content to mindmaps and add mindmaps to miro borards!What would YOU (miro, fellow users) think about this?Thanks in advance for your discussion and considerations!Best regards,Michael

    Always show name in the Frame Tab Thumbnail ViewOpen

    I prefer using the Thumbnail View when I’m browsing the list of frames. Several of the frames are visually similar though so it’s helpful to also see the name. But the name is only shown when you hover over the image. And that’s not very practical when you have a big list to look through, especially when using the scroll bar.→ I suggest adding an option to toggle “always show/hide name”. Name shown on hover No names when browsing

    "Pen pipette" tool to choose pen settings from existing writingOpen

    It would be really nice to have a “pen pipette”-type tool, whereby you can select a piece of writing you have created on your board, and then start using the exact same pen settings as was used to create that writing. This would be especially helpful for adding writing to an existing section without manually having to choose the colour and thickness of the pen every single time. Are there any plans to implement such a feature?

    Ability to take photos on both mobile and tablet modeOpen

    I’ve noticed that there is an option to upload photos to Miro directly by pressing the “upload” button and then choosing the “take photo” button. However, this is only on the mobile version of the app, and there doesn’t seem to be any sort of analogous option with the tablet/desktop version. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Fold 4, so I have access to both modes, even though the app seems to randomly decide between either of them, so the “take photo” mode isn’t universally accessible.It would be extremely useful to enable this functionality when not using the mobile app, for example, if I am working with a student who is using a tablet with a camera built in, or if I am using Miro on my desktop with a webcam.

    Add a shortcut for wide sticky notesOpen

    Shortcut ‘n’ for note is cool enough but I usually want to use wide (not square) note.  So maybe capital ‘N’ (Shift-N) is very handy for me and intuitive enough for anyone to use.

    Highlight cursor and click/tap actionsOpen

    The recent announcement of the Talktrack (beta) feature at Distributed '22 has got me thinking again of a feature I would love to see in Miro: A highlighted cursor option.For now, I use a Chrome browser extension, however, these externsion only partially (if at all) work in Miro, e.g., the cursor is highlighted but the clicks don't register, and they of course don't work in the Miro desktop app.How the highlighter would functionIt should have a slight animation to it – this should address any color blindness accessibility issues and draw attention to where there cursor is, more specifically when the cursor is not moving. Click/tap actions would have an addition animation.UsabilityIt would be a standard feature, available on all plans. There would be a keyboard shortcut to turn the highlighter on/off. There could only be one active cursor highlighting at any given time, e.g., two  users on the same board could not both have their cursor highlighted (this could solve the need for feature requests to only show Board Owner cursor). Similar to Reactions, the board /co-owner could allow this feature for all board participants. Only the board owner/co-owner could take over highlighting while in use by another board participant.ExampleHere is an example of what this could look like (recording of the Cursor Highlighter Chrome browser extension): Use CasesBringing extra attention to the presenter's cursor while the board participants have Show collaborators' cursors enabled. More easy to follow a cursor and see when the user has taken an action (click/tap) on an object, e.g., training via a Talktrack recording. Please share your thoughts/feedback/additional use cases and of course upvote if you would find this feature useful.

    When using Miro as tool for storing Start Up data, or using Miro as tool for investigations it will be useful to find URLs currently used in desk. Without this feature we should use workaround with adding URL as “hidden” text.

    Dropshadows should not affect selectabilityOpen

    When affinity mapping, I stack several similar/related sticky notes on top of each other (see example below). Now if I try to click the 3rd sticky, by clicking on it, it instead selects the 2nd sticky, presumably because the drop shadow of sticky 2 is blocking the select-ability of sticky 3 underneath it.
