    Turn on off View Present UsersOpen

    I create some boards and share them with my students so they could view-only. I think it would be good to have the ability to turn off visibility of showing who is on the board. Students may prefer to view the board without being seen that they are on the board. I think it should be the feature that the board creator indicates whether it shows who is on the board or not.Even as a board creator sometimes I want to view a shared board but do not want others to see that I am on the board. However, right now when I am on the board it will show my account presence.

    Multiple object selection in KiCAD styleOpen

    I would propose to change how multiple object selection works on a miro board similar to how it is done in https://www.kicad.org/.When doing multiple selection by drawing a rectangle with KiCAD, the objects actually being selected depend on the direction the rectangle is drawn.If the rectangle was drawn from right to left, all objects being inside or being intersected by the rectangle are selected (as it is done by miro today). If the rectangle is drawn from left to right, only objects which are completely inside the rectangle are selected. Objects only intersecting the rectangle are ignored unless the whole bounding box is inside the rectangle.This (2) allows in very cluttered boards to select objects without collateral selection of unrelated objects.

    Scaling consistencyOpen

    When scaling a number of selected objects - say, a journey map - it would be nice if everything scaled consistently. Right now, some objects scale - text, boxes - but others like arrows don’t, leaving you with cases of massive lines + arrows (scaling large groups down) or tiny lines + arrows (scaling up).  Many other uses have commented on this oddity, an example here: https://community.miro.com/ask-the-community-45/scaling-connection-lines-arrows-4622?postid=19347#post19347

    Plug-in for gameOpen

    Hi, I'm looking for an online whiteboard that can support some features I need for a game: there are elements that can be flipped in the physical version of the game. Is there a plug-in that can replace on  digital asset with another one on the whiteboard if a user double clicks on it? (In my case it's cards and hexagon tiles of which I have the front and back side as a PNG file) Or is there a marketplace where I could find someone to develop this kind of thing? Thank you very much for your help!

    Ability to hide elements of certain typeOpen

    I use miro primarily for wireframing. In my drawings, I have lines capped with arrows that indicate functional flow (ie, clicking this button causes this change). I would *kill* for a button to hide all those arrow lines, so that I can screenshot or export without them.

    Feature idea: provide an easy short cut to activate voice to text using the pencil with the  iPad Mobile app voice to text is much faster to use on an iPad than typing or writing with the pencil. It would be great to provide an easy voice UI to be able to speak out loud text for post it’s or headers or other board elements

    Create Our Own Boards Categories on All BoardsOpen

    I think it would be great if we can create different categories on All boards and put the boards under different categories. That way it would be much easier to organize the boards and find them faster.It would also be great to have a category for stared vs unstarred boards. Right now it is one category and can be ordered by like date opened.

    Connection line (additional anchors) track with grids/swimlanesOpen

    Grids are great - and objects track fine; however when adding control points to connection lines - they don’t track with their relative position in the grid. We need control points to track - so that if additional columns or rows are added, the control lines remember their relative position in the swimlanes/grids.

    In OneNote or Evernote i can insert space easily without dragging the elements around, when I want them further apart.In Miro I have not found any equally easy solution.It would help us a lot as we have a totally selfdeveloping Organisation Board in our team.Thx, Diana

    Adobe CC Integration for Creative EducationOpen

    Can Adobe CC Institution Accounts be supported by the Miro Integration?As an arts university using Miro for collaboration on in-progress work, we were very excited to see the integration with Adobe Creative Cloud for file upload, but we are unable to log in to the integration using our institutional Adobe accounts. Attempted login pulls up the error message 'Company or School Accounts are not supported'.  We’d get so much out of this feature if it supported our school accounts, and I imagine many creative institutions would agree!Thanks for your consideration.

    Only see cursor of person you're followingOpen

    We have large meetings where people share tabular data, and there’s no neat way to see where they’re looking at or talking about. If we turn on cursors, we see all 150+ cursors in the meeting -- not an option.A simple solution would be to only view the cursor of the person you’re following.

    Static text box widthOpen

    How can I keep a text box from expanding automatically as I type? For example, I’ve drawn out a square shape and I want to type in bullets in the dimensions of this square. However, when I use a text box on top of the square, despite drawing it to the width of the shape, if I type a long sentence the width goes wider than the width of the square. Is there any way that I can ‘lock’ the dimensions of the text box? I would double click within the text box and use the text feature in there but as far as I can see I can’t use bullet points within that feature. Any help?

    Light mode (clear background) for code blockOpen

    Code blocks are perfect to teach programming (my activity) but light/dark background color should be a choice in the options of the code block context menu. I understand that dark modes are in high demand nowadays and that bright shiny code upon deep blue looks so cool, but it is not compatible with anyone’s needs and nervous systems :Visually, in terms of contrast, it can be annoying to have an arrow/connector starting from a piece of code on dark background and going outside to a figure/explanation/diagram that’s on the default light background. It requires careful choice of connector’s color to keep good contrast on both background, and I personally find the change of background too much for comfort of gazing back and forth code/explanations (see next point). Some people find dark modes easier on the eyes, this is not my case, after years working code in dark mode I simply can’t take it anymore, bright lines of code impress my retina and leave trails whenever I move my gaze. I don’t know how many people suffer this conditions but this makes reading clear text on dark background extremely uncomfortable, even impossible for long texts. I installed a plugin in my browser for such situations that inverts all colors, it works with miro in web page : the code block does become light mode but then the rest of the boards goes dark ! If a global (board-wide) dark-mode were implemented then maybe that could be a solution for me (provided the code blocks wasn’t inverted in such a global dark mode !)Of course the syntax highlighting should be adapted to the background light/dark as to keep good contrast.

    Create a "list view" from a Mind MapOpen

    It’d be awesome if we could have a “list style” view for mind maps.The view would present a mindmap in a list fashion, close to what you can find in “Mind node” app.  The list view would be super useful to go through the different steps of a mind map easily.

    Only view cursor of person I am followingOpen

    When I select a user to follow on the board, I DON’T want to see EVERYONE’S cursors, but I DO want to see only the cursor of the user I am following. And the board owner could designate a board host/presenter and all attendees could choose to only see the current presenter's cursor. I ran into this a few weeks ago with a Miro webinar with 100+ people in the board, but I only wanted to see the presenter's cursor (who was not the board owner).

    1 Free "Download Board Backup"Open

    As an educator I needed to test Miro in practice before going through the process of getting an educator account. While I am grateful for the educator account system, there isn’t an easy way to download that board and upload it to the new account domain for streamlined archiving and file management. I cannot think of meaningful ways to exploit the backup system for free account users, so this request is really a quality-of-life improvement for educators.

    Jira Cards - ability to hide Assignee, Issue type, Priority, and StatusOpen

    In order to only see information on Jira Cards that is relevant, I want to configure the Assignee, Issue type, Priority, and Status fields as hidden.This is a known limitation documented here: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017572434-Jira-Cards?source=search⚠️ Please note that the Jira fields may vary from board to board as the settings are applied to the current board only. The default fields can not be removed from the picker and from the cards (Assignee, Issue type, Priority, Status) but you can always reset settings to default if you don't want additional fields to be added to the card. The only fields which feel like they should be always shown would be the issue number, and the name. The rest seem to be dependent on what you are doing.

    Prepopulated Monthly CalendarsDelivered

     I am surprised that I can’t find this, but I know several people, including myself, that would love to just drop in a January 2021 calendar for use with planning.  I can find a zillion calendar templates online, but they are usually covered with ads or some kind of copyright protection. A basic monthly and yearly calendar would be terrific -- and I think it would be very widely used.  I do sometimes use the monthly planner, but adding dates for each month is tedious at best.
