We recently had an admin accidentally delete an entire Team, along with all associated boards and templates. There was no confirmation email or button, as indicated in this Help Center article: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017571334It’s surprising this isn’t a feature of Enterprise. We expect better safety controls from Miro with an Enterprise level tier. It’s way too easy for someone to accidentally delete an entire team with all associated boards and templates - no confirmation email or button whatsoever.
I belong to a company with an increasing interest in MIRO and now we have almost hundred MIRO teams. If you want to join a new team without invitation the only option I know is to use the ‘+’ button and search for it but thats crazy with such amount of teams. There’s no alphabetical order or any option for a smart search (just something for a quick search without browsing all the existing would be great).
We would appreciate an extension of the hide functionality for frames. It would be great, if you could hide frames while they are visible for board owners. So e.g. moderators can adapt / edit content during a workshop without particpants seeing the modifications / changes while doing that.
Can you / product team look into this request - Although you have 2 option to "Export as PDF" <1> complete board & <2> by selecting frames,Wish list - is it possible to have option as Canva where we can select "PNG" / "PDF" by selecting specific frame / pages created.Use case: When we have huge [say 30-40] amount of frames created in a miro board, it's not user friendly to select each frame and then save as pdf, rather, we can use left pane and select which frames and then "export as pdf" Use case: how we can make #userexperience easy when huge frames are there on a single Miro board - say count is 60+
I looove me some USM or Kanban boards. The one feature I struggle with is the formatting of the cards inside of them. I would love to be able to have Sticky Notes inside of a USM or Kanban board. It would be much more legible.
Hey,is it possible to create something like this with Miro?I will make a whiteboard with the app flow, and then I will add for example a CSV data sheet where all click events are listed in Excel, I can make a function to search for the right event and display the clicks check out the screenshot (all dummy data) ;)if it's possible > how can I do thisif not, > it's a point for the Wish List ;) (Miro would be better than excel because of the great whiteboard)thx for info :)
I want to make my collaborative sessions more fun. I typically run ideations, vision and storyline sessions, process mapping sessions. Any tools that would help with gamification would be really helpful. One example might be like a roulette wheel that could be used to create a random number or randomly select a name, or one of the current users.
It would be good if the images we copy and paste from google can be a interactive picture with Miro’s own shapes rather than a stick image. As a BA we use diagrams and flow charts, it would be faster if we can copy the image and Miro works out and builds the shape itself and the image is converted using Miro’s own text boxes rather than us having to maually create shapes, lines then save it as a template for future use.I hope this makes sense :)
ContextWith JIRA cards addon we can import JIRA issue as stiky in Miro In Miro we can linked sticky together Request Would be great, that “JIRA cards addon” creates automatically a link in JIRA when a connection line is added in MIRO between 2 Jira issues. Could be a new dedicated type of line in the toolbar below :
Please make the width of the scroll bars adjustable. I’m working in the Windows app, but this request applies to Chrome too. Below is a screenshot of my board. Because of the small size of the scroll bars, I keep clicking on the board and objects on the board. It is kind of a pain when I’m trying to move among 4 areas to take notes quickly.
Within MIRO it would be ideal if you build out a board that you could select all of your frames, stickies, etc and do a batch or magic resize to 100% zoom. Far too often when people are collaborating on a board you have items at all various sizes and the view-zoom doesn’t align. This could be even beneficial when you are building out a board template with no collaboration. Would help simplify the process. Anyone else agree?
If I’m creating a grid with sticky notes in each cell that need a unique tag, I’d like to be able to establish the format of the tag description using some kind of batch sequencing process, like Adobe has.For instance, if I have participant 1 question 1, participant 2 question 1, etc. it would be good to do minimal tagging entry through some kind of batch process: P1-Q1, P2-Q1, etc. Either the format is intelligently applied, or there is a screen that allows you to enter in multiple tags + the option to create one sticky for each unique tag.I just created a board that had a total of 56 tags (7 participants x 8 questions). I had to add those individually. It seems like there could be a way to do that quicker.
We need the ability to migrate our Jira Cards connection from on prem server to Cloud. We are migrating to Jira cloud, no keys will be changing, and really need a way to NOT have to re-import hundreds, if not thousands, of cards. We are an Enterprise that uses Miro exclusively for PI planning as opposed to traveling. We use another SaaS application that integrates to Jira, by importing some data from Jira, via a URL using the key, and they have a feature “Add Connection and Migrate”. This feature will take all my existing Requirements and update the link so we do not need to re-map entities and lose traceability. Please consider adding this to Miro.
For planning a sprint, we like to add JIRA cards for the respective feature diagrammed in the Miro.It would be great, if we could export all the JIRA cards (with issue numbers) to a csv or similar. We have export to CSV right now, but only the text content of the cards, not the links or ticket numbers. Thanks!
The idea about to make selecting objects on miro boards much more comfortable. The idea is to select everything what is touched by the selction rect when pulling the selection rect angle from upper left to lower right (this is how selecting currently works) and only select everything whats inside the rectangle when pulling the selection rect from lower right to upper left.I once worked with this feature in a well known CAD program. This feature made selecting objects in cluttered drawings unbelieveable more comfortable.Would be nice to see this feature in miro as well.
I would like to have a new Theme for MindMaps (see attached picture) to easily create hierarchical structures.
I guess this feature request will not be popular as most users don’t have a disability but I really wish Miro would support people with disability(ies). As colour blind, it’s difficult to use miro, I can never understand when people name objects by their colour on the board. If I add a objet, I cannot choose a colour and say it out loud in a call.I wish each colour had a name and that I could choose my own colours by entering its HEXA or RGB values (which I must always use when using Microsoft office) to avoid.
Hi all,I think it will be useful to be able to perform simple calculation within the Miro Mindmap features.Practical example here: I am working on developing a workflow in Miro using Mindmap and I would like to associate to all the step-boxes a duration (days, weeks, months) and it would be great if I could insert a function on a parent box able to calculate the sum out of each children boxes.E.g.PROCESSSTEP 1 (SUM of days) → do this (1 day) / do that (2 days) / do something (1 day)STEP 2 (SUM of days) → [...] This could be also linked to several different properties (budget, resources, completing % etc.)
I use Markdown extensively, especially to link different pieces of a project together. For example, I’ll have a master to do list in which I’ll link relevant Miro Boards, websites, mails, etc ….It would be great to be able to retrieve board titles either :programmatically (through scripting or an API) with the UI (expose a “Copy Markdown Link” menu item for example) This would work well with Hookmark, for example, and plenty of other “power tools” .
