I am a private language tutor - I decided to move to Miro after years of using paper materials and other services that didn’t provide that much of a comfort. I came up with the idea, that my materials are starting to look like an interactive textbook day after day. I thought, why wouldn’t there be an opportunity to create a system of paywall / restricted areas on the board. You will get access to these areas only after payment to the content creator (PayPal, Stripe, Apple Pay, etc. could help), I’d be down to paying a fee to Miro as well.My thinking is that this tool could be called “Content restrictive shapes” - a separate menu button with squares, circles, polygons, etc. You drag this special square or whatever from that menu button, resize it and put it on your board. That’s it. Area inside that square is going to be visible only after my client has paid the subsctiption / one-time fee. If the subscription expires, these restrictive geometrical shapes become non-transparent again. What do you think?
Hi, it would be great if I can hide frames, when I switch into presentation mode. So it should look like this: And of course I can choose more than one frame that I like to hide from a presentation. I need a fast and simple way to hide frames without creating any new copied boards. Michael
Most CMS don't allow IFRAME integration due to security concerns. But they do support showing an external image. At my company we have a couple of systems to track projects, and they support Markdown, which allows to insert inline images.I would like to insert parts (frames maybe?) of a Board, for example a Milestone chart. Preferrable, I would like to have a public URL link (with an obscure url), because Miro rarely stays logged in (some users may not even use it so much). <a href="same_iframe_sharing_link_here"> <img src="new_image_export_link"> </a> Thanks!!!
Me gustaría poder utilizar esta app en castellano. Gracias.
It is hard to believe that Miro is not in spanish. This should be priority number 1. In 2022, all the important apps are multilanguages, or at least are in English and Spanish.
I'm looking for Spanish Miro version, are there? Or is it possible skin miro version? Thanks.
Hi, I love Miro and think it is a great tool but living in a french speaking province , it would be great if it was translated in french!!! Thanks Dalal
Because there are only 4 and I want to customize and upload images for all the team to make them stickers they're so cool
possibility to import files from Whimsical and keep the editing function
Unfortunately, Miro is still impossible to use as an exclusive presentation design tool. However it is great for the stage of brainstorming and throwing a lot of information that then needs to be arranged for a presentationIt would be very helpful if elements could be copied and pasted between Miro and Google Slides, using CTRL + C & CTRL + V, so that some of the design done in Miro would be saved and would go well to Google Slide or vice versa.
Hi,I really miss a Framemaster:A Frame that I can create and design with Header/Footer in a Corporate Design-Way that would be always placed into my canvas when I add a new frame onto it.It should have the same function like the Slidemaster in Powerpoint. It should be possible to add as many Framemasters like I definedthat will automaticly will be added if I click on my frameoption: Michael
Dear Miro Team, from the perspective of an Enterprise Customer I have a feature request for printing Miro Boards to PDF/or Images. For document control purposes it would be really helpful if the printed document could include a footer line with a reference to Miro as well as the name of the customer.Additionally, the information classification label should appear on the printed document as well.Thank you for considering this feature request!Kind Regards,Anne
Hi all, as a Miro fan, I have my professional account which I use daily, and together, I learned how Miro could be beneficial for my personal life. There, I am structuring my goal, challenges and learnings, arranging what I should to focus and improve on and at same time what is costing my motivation and energy.Sometime, it's natural to want to add a quick thing on my personal board while working or during a break. Currently the way of doing that, is having the desktop app (which is extremelly handy) and a tab opened (between the other dozens) inside the browser with my personal account logged in.So, the problem I am facing is: I cannot easily switch between my personal and my company's board. My suggestion here, is to have something similar to google account switch navigation.
I produce a lot of board for my school and need to lock a tremendous amount of objects on my boards so that users will not move things by mistake and put the quality of class activities in jeopardy.I can lock objects in bulk which is nice, and can also use filtering in order to make my bulk locking a bit more precise. However, once my bulk locking is done, I have to unlock all when I need to do a correction on one element after seeing an error / mistake in one of the elements now locked. →I would love to be able to select object in bulk and locking them all at once BUT having all the objects being locked one by one / independently from one another, and not grouped / gathered with the other locked elements. → All locked, but all independent from the others. This way, you could lock everything into place at once, and not have to unlock all if you want to make adjustments only on one object out of your locked selection.→ You could just unlock it independently.→ Basically, it means getting rid of the “grouping” function when bulk locking. Anybody in the same situation ? 🤓🔒🔓
I use mind maps a lot (because I enjoy how easy it is to create them, add nodes, arrange them, and drag them around). I suspect the auto-layout has a lot to do with my preference of mind maps over working with shapes and stickies. However, sometimes I need to connect images, stickies or shapes to a mind map and I’d like those objects to be treated as a node (so I can arrange them and drag them around as easily as I do nodes).
We absolutely love Miro for internal reviews. It would be great to see .TIFF and .AI files as supported image types in the future.
Regarding the recent change to @board mentions and that from now on, the person who uses the mention will be notified too... Totally unnecessary and annoying. If I as the user create a comment with the "@board" mention, I don't need to be reminded with an email that I just did it. I know I did it. I'm the one who created it. The redundancy seems totally unnecessary, and just clogs up my inbox. There are occasions in which I might review some work and leave a dozen or more "@board" mentions... the emails that follow are just too much. To me, I only see the value of receiving a notification on a comment that I authored AFTER someone else replies to that comment.
I wish I could check on the voting status before the voting is complete to see if everyone has voted. We have some votes running for several days. If I can see that everyone has voted, then I can end the voting early.
I am absolutely fine with an English version for me to work with. However, I know many colleagues, who wish the language to be German as well. For the German market, a German version of Miro would be really great to make the people more comfortable working with the tool.
I would like to see and use a feature that allows to convert a PowerPoint slide with all its elements into a Miro board with elements. Each Miro element should be editable. At the moment (September 2022) Miro converts one or more PowerPoint slide(s) as one image that can not be edited. The “conversiion by element” feature would allow to import PowerPower slides into Miro and use them there as templates. This would significantly reduce the effort to re-create templates which exist as PowerPoint templates already.
Hi, I’m using miro boards spreadsheet, thanks for that great app. Grouping option is available in working space on board and in frame. How can I group assets in spreadsheet cell? Could you add this option in spreadsheet cells in next update please?
