    View ability to Hide/Unhide Sticky Notes depending on tagOpen

    We would like to be able to hide or unhide sticky notes depending on their tags.  i.e. if a note was tagged as “Sales”, we would want to be able to hide all other tags and just show the ones relevant to sales.

    Improvements to program boardOpen

    In general the programme board is a great idea, but there are a few things which limit it’s utilityAn ability to collapse (or otherwise get greater information density) to the backlog. If I have >5 issues it doesn’t fit on the screen. Would be better to have a wider single line view to get more on the screen Ideally the ability to have multiple boards on the same view; I appreciate this might be tricky, but the main problem to solve is visualising the dependencies between boards, so if there were another way of doing that, that could be an option Ability to show a story / point count in the header Showing (and being able to edit) the sprint goal Ability to break down work in a sprint; some thoughts which come to mind Potentially an ability to filter the tickets shown. We often have a mixture of roadmap and non-roadmap items, and generally we’re not too interested in the non-roadmap items at a programme level (these are less predictable and therefore not often planned) Ability to respect the swim lanes (or add swim lanes) to allow better organisation when there are multiple streams of work. One example might be by epic Showing epics on tickets

    Lock to boardOpen

    Often I want to lock objects/items to a frame and then have the capacity to move that frame around.Unfortunately now I have to lock and then unlock the objects when moving that board around. Could there be a possibility of “lock to frame” or something alike? It would be great!

    How I can change the default colors for sticky notes so they look better for people with color blindness. The default color make it really hard create different shapes and notes that can be easily distinguished for people with protanopia.

    change of font color within a code blockOpen

    I hope you can add a new feature: allowing the change of font color within a code block.Scenario 1: Sometimes, I want to document the syntax of a particular package, but it doesn't display with a specific color in the code block.Scenario 2: I'd like to highlight a section of complex logic that requires extra attention, but I'm unable to do so without overlaying a text box separately.I believe this would make the platform more intuitive and convenient for engineers.Thank you.

    A read only list view of all boards w/ filters and advanced searchOpen

    Teams are using boards to collaborate, create project views, roadmap plans.  What I’d like to propose is a feature that exists in JIRA - to be able to view a read only list and index and search the content, but not have access to the board itself, unless access is granted by the board owner.  In teams that span the organization it is useful to have a top level view, without exposing too much detail.

    View my boards into Miro App on MS TeamsOpen

    Hi,  We have integrated Miro within MS Teams and currently I can only share a Board within a specific chat or channel, but I cannot work on my own within the Miro App on MS Teams, independently from anyone else. This is because when I access the Miro App, I can only see the general “Chat” and “About” pages, which do not let me do anything within the app. Because of this, I am forced to switch back to Miro when I want to work in it on my own. I think the user experience would greatly benefit if I could do some work from within the App. This is because sometimes you have an idea while talking with someone (on Teams), and you may not have the Miro board already open on the browser. From within a chat, it would take me 1 click to jump on the Miro App within MS Teams and add that idea/concept super quickly, without disrupting the flow.  I understand that you want to push usage on the original website/desktop app, but it is not a coincidence that any other tool integrating with MS Teams let me work directly from their App in MS Teams. Think of Jira, Monday, or any other PM tool, for example. I can still go on the website if I have to do a session of work there, but at least I would not be blocked when I need to just do a quick edit/add. And quick means 30 seconds. If I had to add other 30 seconds just to open the browser, the website, and then get to board, it doesn’t feel efficient or helpful. Thank you,  Simone Casciaro

    Easily generate a frame for each imageOpen

    We need presentation-like capabilities. I like the presentation feature, but it requires a frame for each item. When we import a set of images from a PowerPoint deck, it’s burdensome to create a frame for each and every image. It would be nice to have an automated way to get each image into a frame. If I’m missing something that exists, please let me know.

    add Texture Interpolation options for displaying pictures on a boardOpen

    In particular, nearest neighbor, or a hybird between nearest neighbor and bilinear (an method sometimes used to display upscaled pixel art), would be really useful for seeing small details in large images, details that with the current interpolation on the windows app appear blurry.

    Board Size NotificationOpen

    We are finding that some of our boards are getting HUGE. We don’t fully understand how large until we try to copy them or export them and it fails. It would be great if there was a way to track the board size from within the application. Letting our design teams and normal users know the size of their boards without needing to access the API or contact an admin would ease the pain and delays that are caused when we need to copy a board or export a backup for a customer.

    Activate/Desactivate some tools in a board as an admin to not let users use them even with edition rights.Example : In a Sprint Review where we interact with the whole organization we would like us to edit the board to give feedbacks but avoid the use of the stylo or shapes, … just the sticky notes.

    Resize shape, not font-sizeOpen

    One of the annoying things on Miro is see a board with stickies with the same size but completely different font sizes. You need to zoom in and zoom out to properly read them.I suggest implement an flag/property on each object (sticky and shapes) where you can select what type of auto-adjustment the object will have, after a pre-defined threshold:Auto-adjust: Dimensions Font-size I’m open to refine the suggestion or other solutions for this problem.

    Is there any way to message all users on my account simultaneously (on free educator plan)?Open

    I have a limited number of seats to use in the educator’s plan, so I need to clear out old students- but I would like to message them in advance of deleting them so they have a chance to back up and move their boards- I cannot find a method of messaging all my users- is there a way? I do not have time to write each person individually. Thank you in advance for pointing out or creating this capability!

    REST API Get items by assigned userOpen

    Hi Miro Team,first of all I am a big fan of your rest api. There is one endpoint I am missing. I would like to retrieve all cards on a board with a specific assigned user. So far we can only retrieve items by a tag or all cards on a board. But filtering the cards by assigned user would be a game changer. Are there plans to implement that? :)

    Dear JIRA Team,I am writing to share an idea that I believe could greatly enhance the JIRA Card feature.Use Case: In my daily workflow, I heavily rely on the JIRA Card feature to manage tickets efficiently. However, I encounter a time-consuming challenge when it comes to selecting multiple tickets associated with specific Sprints or custom categories. Currently, I can only select individual tickets or use the bulk selection option, which is not suitable for selecting a group of tickets within a Sprint or a custom category.Problem to Solve: The lack of an option to select entire Sprints or custom categories in the JIRA Card feature makes it laborious for me to handle related tickets at once. I often find myself searching and clicking on each ticket individually within a category, which consumes a significant amount of time and effort.Critical Feature or Nice-to-Have: The ability to select and import all tickets within a particular Sprint or category with just one click would substantially boost productivity and save valuable time.Possible Solution: To address this issue, I propose integrating a new feature that allows users to search and select entire Sprints or custom categories directly from the JIRA Card interface.     Possibility to insert screenshot without resolution limitationOpen

    Hello!I use Miro a lot for sharing UI mockups, website screenshots, and also for creating collections. The problem is that I often get the message "your image exceeds the limit of 32MP” and I have to use another tool and then copy and paste the image into Miro. It's a very frustrating thing for someone who uses a lot of miro for this, so please give the option to upload even heavier files! 🙏That would be great!

    Could you please add feature where I could see how many visitors entered the board, how many unique visits in certain period of time, etc. It could work the same way as web page stats are working.

    Embed Mixpanel BoardsOpen

    I have a lot of data in Mixpanel. I want to be able to embed selected Mixpanel boards in my Miro board, so we can focus on one page only, rather than jumping back and forth between apps.Also, it'll save us hassle and that nagging feeling when you need to update the Miro board.

    Tag search (from Sticky Note/Card context bar) should be case insensitiveOpen

    Tag search should not be case sensitive. This reduces the usefulness of searching across a lot of content.At the very least a checkbox to switch between case sensitive and insensitive would be fab!

    Intersection of connection linesOpen

    Hello,I would like to raise an issue, which is so far the only behaviour which is bothering me while working with miro. I really appreciate your work and its one of my favourite tools of all time!I mostly use miro for creating diagrams with shapes (boxes), connection lines and text. As far as I know, a basic connection line has two endpoints and a box has an area, a border and four connection points (up/down/left/right).When I want to have an arrow pointing to a box, I can (1) drop the end of the connection line with the mouse cursor into the box and it automatically snaps to the corresponding connection point, I can (2) drop it directly to one of the four connection points or (3) I drop it to the border and it snaps to it. This is partly illustrated in picture 1 below.Picture 1: Two boxes about to be connected by a connection lineNow, I often want to have multiple, parallel connection lines between these boxes. The intuitive way would be dropping the connection line to the box area as described in (1). The result is shown in picture 2 below. The connection lines perform an automatic offset from each other but - and thats my issue here - also start crossing each other. For me, this really has a negative impact on my diagrams; they look less clean due to additional intersections and its difficult to make text attached to a connection line readable.Picture 2: Two boxes connected by two connection lines; snapped to their center areaThe desired configuration is shown in the next picture below and of course its possible to come to that result with some manual work. Unfortunately it can get a little messy as shown in the upper connection line of picture 3 below - especially when I start resizing or moving the boxes. The best compromise is to snap the connection lines manually to the border of the boxes as described in (3), but this can sometimes not lead to perfect results since you have to align both endpoints with your mouse cursor. (Choosing a different line type can help hiding unproper alignment but since I am constantly working with the diagrams, I want to avoid mixed line types only to achieve slightly better results for this scenario.)Picture 3: Two boxes connected by two connection lines; snapped manually to their bordersI do not have any use case, where I would like to have crossed lines to connect boxes, so my proposal would be to change the behaviour of the connection lines to become parallel by default.I am excited to hear about your opinion.Many thanks and keep up the good work,Marcel

    Would be great to have automated backups overnight to a nominated Google Drive account (or similar account).    BTW, if you did do this, it  should only use the permission that gives Miro the ability to view and edit files it creates - NOT general ability to access all of my Google drive.

    We have an API Proxy at our on-prem Jira instance which requires authentication.But the configuration page in Miro for Jira Cards does not provide an option to enter credentials.So please add the possibility to enter credentials to it.See: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/requests/574654
