Have a shape called "Flex Polygon" (as in Lucidchart) where you can add more points and change it however you want and be able to add color to shape.

 

 

The Pen and Direct Selection tool in Adobe products is another helpful reference point for this functionality. Bezier curves with shapes, beyond straight polygons, would be a bonus :)

I would love to be able to make equilateral odd-sided polygons - equilateral pentagons seem to be impossible to make at the moment, and triangles take some fiddling.
