    Ability to add guests at a project level - not just boardsOpen

    Problem: My business sells access to Miro templates. In order to allow customers to make a copy of each template, I need to eitherSend them a .rtb backup file Laborious process of around 30 minutes for them to download and import over 30 templates - and growing! Negative user impact, they simply won’t do it. Add them as a guest to each board Laborious process of around 20 mins for me each time I need to add a new customer to over 30 boards - and growing! Simply not feasible. Solution: If we could add guest access to projects rather than just boards, that would make the process so much simpler from both sides.Value: There doesn’t appear to be any negative impact for Miro given there is no maximum number of boards a guest can access, but high value for all of the users involved in the above processes

    Allow empty groups (with nobody in it)Open

    We use an IDP with SCIM to manage Miro users. But, actually, Miro have a business criteria that requires an admin to keep inside a group, At this time there is no ability to have a team with nobody in it, and SCIM connector fails when trying to deactivate the last remaining user/admin inside a miro group.We understand that this would be a common problem for IT, and we desire to be able to deactivate users via SCIM when they are the last remaining admin in the team.

    Idea for the Mind MapOpen

    Hey there! UX Designer here who uses Miro religiously for wireframing to sitemapping. I was using your mind map feature today, which I love, but I can’t help but think that the Return and Tab buttons should have their interactions reversed. When I hit enter in the mind map, it adds a new node to the right and when I hit tab it adds a new node below. However, our mental models when using a keyboard is actually the opposite of this...we tab OVER and we hit Return or Enter to go to the next line. Due to the reversal of this interaction in Miro, I ALWAYS hit tab to TAB OVER but end up creating a new line below. I’ve been using this tool for years and I still don’t get it right! Anyways. thought that was an interesting idea that I wanted to share.     Board-individual password protection within a team / projectOpen

    When will it be possible for individual, selected boards within a common team to receive individual password protection?_We have established a folder or project/team structure within our company. Each folder contains several boards. Each folder is shared with a selection of team members. However, within a project with multiple boards, all team members of the project have access to all boards. However, our wish is that despite shared team rights, individual boards within the project can be provided with individual password protection. If you could implement this function, it would help us to maintain our efficient, much-used folder structure. Kind regardsTessa from Namox

    Supporting multiple language translations on the same boardOpen

    When using Miro for documentation, we run into complications when sharing boards with those who aren’t native English speakers.  The ideal solution:All text fields can be toggled to another language.  If no translation has been provided or the original language text was changed then ! denotes where translation needs to be provided or updated. All team members get notified of board translation updates similar to comments.

    Reset a board a specified stateOpen

    I use Miro for - among other things - workshops where people move things around, add stickies, vote on things etc. Now I would love to be able to reset a board to a specified starting state, as that would make it possible to serve many groups in a row without cumbersome workarounds.    The most basic version of this that I can imagine - which would still serve my purposes splendidly - would be a toggle to decide if this feature is to be used and two buttons: save and reset. The Save button saves the present state to memory and the Reset button collects the saved state from memory, thereby removing any change that has been made to the board. A more advanced version could for example offer more than one saved state. That would make it possible for one board to be used to mimic a journey or process where participants get to play through the steps from A to B (where the A state is saved to memory) and even if they don’t quite make it to B they can still continue from B to C, cause the B state has also been saved and can easily be recalled.  Other features that would be nice but not required for an MVP is dates and notes for a saved state. It could also be useful to decide who can use the reset feature and maybe even which users of a board that are able to see it.

    Add more apps to the Presentation mode - ActivitiesOpen

    During the presentation mode I often stop. Sometimes to use an app from the left menu that I can't use during the Present Activities. Like to create lines between objects and once to add a table. I cannot activate these apps in the Present Activities. When I do want to use these during my workshop I have to stop the presentation mode. Do my thing. Thean go bact to presentation mode and go to the relevant slide. Unfortunately, the latter currently takes a lot of time now. My wish: Add more apps to the Presentation mode - Activities

    Mind Maps - shorter distance between lines / objectsOpen

    There seems to be a (large!) minimum spacing between entries. Every time I add an entry or move one, the whole map is rearranged and gets bigger and bigger because of the large spacing - and is quickly too big for the frame ...Also, different spacing between cells or branches would make it easier to illustrate which parts of the map belong (closer) together.

    When using the Miro Board Picker UI in JIRA, you’re asked to ‘Pick a board to embed’. The search functionality should work if you paste in the board URL.

    Splitting text into linesOpen

    It would be perfect, it there was a possibility to split the text into lines.I am a teacher of language and it takes time for me to add each word for students as new objects. If there was this tool, I could write all the words in one list, split it and then use, drag and work with each word separately.I believe, that it can be useful for various applications.Thanks ahead!

    Mind map - shorter linesOpen

    In accordance to Tony Buzan’s method, mind map elements should be as close to each other as it is possible, so that it is easier to grab the whole picture. In my opinion, half of the current default line lenght would be good enough ☺️.

    Allow Move to Project when duplicatingOpen

    Can you add a feature so that when we click on Duplicate a board, there is an option right in that first dialog box that allows us to select which project to duplicate it to?As it is currently set up, you can only duplicate to general boards or to the current project, but it would be super helpful to organize each board right away while we’re duplicating it and giving it a title. See the photo below for which dialog box I’m referring to.Thanks!

    Miro on WebEx - RecordingOpen

    Hi all! I have been using Miro to lecture from within the WebEx interface/integration. It works great, and no delays; but when I tried to record from within WebEx, there is no option to record the Miro screen as well. All I get in the recording is myself, and there is no way to share screen to record Miro from within it either. So if I wanted to record lecture, I would actually have to use Miro from outside of WebEx, which seems counterintuitive. Any tips or is there an update coming?

    Start view on last visited locationOpen

    Hi all,What I would find very useful is the option to set the start view to the last location one visted on a board. This would of course be different for every user. When we use boards, it is often about qialitative data collection (on sticky notes) and the analysis of said data. It would be very useful to jump into the board where you took of last.

    FRAM.IO videosOpen

    Miro won’t let up upload videos to boards, I believe the company line is this is a service others provide so we don’t allow it even though all our competitors do. So could it allow frame.io videos to be placed on boards?  Frame.io is used by all professional video companies as you have tight security control and by default it is not public and it has a strong comment and approval process.  Having to upload to youtube or push to vimeo as well as frame is a pain, and a risk with sensitive content.

    It would be nice if text boxes, instead of using previous size, used a size relative to your current zoom level. It doesn’t really make sense when I’m viewing at a large scale and the text box tool creates a text box so small that I can’t even read the text I’m typing.

    Frame NestingOpen

    I love frames since they allow you to group or just frame content in a manageable way. My only complaint is that, while it can visually do this, it cannot group frames within another frame. When I try to move a frame with regular content elements, the elements travel with the frame. If I try to move a frame with other frames contained in it, the internal frames remain where they are

    Allow userType to be set to guest via SCIM APIOpen

    THE ABSTRACTThe userType attribute should be able to be set to guest via the SCIM API. THE PROBLEMMany users in our Miro instance require frequent view access for boards but do not need to edit them.  Currently, there is no way to provision a user as a guest through the SCIM API.  This must be done via the UI and is impractical for large groups of users who need to be provisioned.The only option for setting the userType field via the SCIM API is “Full.”  This means we can only automatically provision users as full users, even when they do not need full edit and creator access. THE (POSSIBLE) SOLUTIONInclude the ability to set the userType attribute to guest via the SCIM API.
