Improved Login Experience for SSO users

As an SSO user, Miro frequently logs me out, presumably due to security settings that my organisation has set.

The SSO sign-in experience is a large pain point when clicking on a Miro link in a logged out state.

The experience involves many steps and screens:

  1. Click Miro board link, greeted by Sign up page
  2. Click ‘Sign in’ in top right corner, greeted by Login page
  3. Click ‘Sign in with Single Sign On’, greeted by SSO login page
  4. Enter SSO email and click ‘Continue to SSO’, redirected to org SSO sign-in page
  5. Proceed with SSO login, finally greeted by Miro board

Could Miro reduce the lengthiness of this experience, for example by setting the Login page rather than Sign Up page as the default page when clicking through to a Miro board while unauthenticated?

I have the same problem, especially the first one one your list is terribly annoying:

  • If I click a link to a board in am e-mail notification that I get, why does it show me the sign up page? I get most e-mails from Miro because I am already participating in a board, it is already known that I am signed up.
  • The regular Sign in page could be the same as the SSO sign in page, but instead of adding a password and clicking sign in (in addition to the e-mail address), one could simply click the SSO button.
