Loving the new pen tool feature!! Super comfortable to use with my wacom tablet.

Next I really want to be able to use similar hotkeys to what I do with adobe illustrator for quickly zooming in and out on aspects of my work.

Jump into Adobe Illustrator (Or Photoshop) hit Z on keyboard and click and drag.

This would level up my Miro workflow and comfort immensely!

Would prefer Figma-like implementation where:

  1. Holding ‘z’ toggles the zoom tool on
  2. Releasing ‘z’ reverts to the previous tool
  3. drag in any direction zooms the viewport to the selected area

This would a significant aid to productivity.

*Please* implement a zoom tool. There’s absolutely no reason to not do this – it will make the behavior consistent for people used to professional design tools (like Figma, Adobe, etc) and it won’t interfere with people who aren’t, because either they have no prior mental model or they can ignore it in favor of the existing microsoft-like keyboard controls that already exist.

And for the record, the Z-for-Zoom-tool + drag is an objectively more efficient implementation of zooming in visual software.

1000% We have been living without this for years. It’s such a pain! Please know that a user experience it reflective to conventions that users bring with them. In this case most design tools have this feature.

Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please.

:)

I’m not kidding. I’ve moved away from Miro because this is so frustrating. It would please so many of your customers.

Best,
Rich
