It’s time to add video. Please consider it. Limit the file size to under 100mb by default and most people will be fine. It’s just difficult to convey certain ideas without motion.

Just came across this limitation after moving my whole team over to Miro Business from Figjam. I didn’t even think that this would be a limitation in 2025, especially on a collaborative white board. 

I guess it’s back to Figjam for us.

We just wanted to upload short 5-30 second videos. A lot of users would find this useful. No need to allow for full length feature films -- you could cap video upload size or duration.

Desigenrs communicate with motion these days. 

I guess that’s 16 licenses being pulled because of how important a function like this is. We moved to Miro for the speed and ease of use, but without video, we will go to other tools. 

I honestly moved over to paid account to replace/augment my pitch decks with miro blueprints but just realized it was in vain, without native video hosting. Disappointed.

Miro is an amazing tool but not having a video or audio upload is crazy! 

I use Miro in different facets on my life, professional and personal all of them require some sort of video or audio upload, youtube embed is a very poor workaround that cost a lot of time. 

Despite keeping my Miro subscription I have to have other additional software like Freeform, Milanote, Affine, to fill in the gaps and all of them are doing very good job which makse me think why am I using two different tools. If Miro won;t address this in a near future will have no choice but to switch : (

Completely agree. As an educator who incorporates public speaking into my class, I’m disappointed that I can’t just have students drag and drop their 5-minute pitches onto a board. Youtube and Vimeo are not options for us.

As an educator, not having a video upload option is a deal breker! 

Please add the video funcionality.

3 Years ago I checked and there was no video upload option so I got Milanote. Coming back now to check again that my Milanote subscription is about to end and I guess I’m gonna extend it for one more year....  I’m sure that 205 people that upvoted implementation of  this feature is such an insignificant number compared to their total user number that we can be easily ignored.  If you don’t require extensive team features, need video upload functionality and ready to zoom in and out using cmd/alt +/- instead of mouse scroll wheel then go for Milanote.

I also moved to MilaNote for my video projects...such a basic feature yet still missing,

Make it possible to connect a personal Google Drive or pay separately for storage space. It would be convenient to upload training videos directly to the board, rather than through other services (a terrible crutch for 2025).

Desperately need video embedding. More than happy to pay for storage if that’s possible, or feel free to be able to link to Google Drive or some other storage bin, but yes video embedding is hampering my ability to effectively use this tool to my personal design/brainstorming needs.
