When I create a synced copy and edit a record (item on the timeline) the dates sync with synced copies. However if I change the colour, it does not sync. Fix the colour syncing.

Yes, please add this! We're looking to create synced views of our product roadmap depending on the audience. The colours are essential in that they communicate specific groups or themes in the roadmap. Manually re-colouring each block in the new view is a hassle…
