This is not a duplicate of "Wrap text on new Miro tables" (https://community.miro.com/ideas/wrap-text-on-new-miro-tables-19330). That idea asked for wrapping to exist. Column-level wrapping now exists. This idea asks for control over it at table level, and for the setting to persist.
My use case: I run large registers and trackers in Miro tables as part of client work. Two things make these tables hard to work with.
1. There is no table-level control. Wrapping is set column by column. On a table with many columns, wrapping or unwrapping the whole table takes many clicks.
2. The wrap setting does not persist. After I reopen the board, rows are expanded again, even when the table, or the whole frame containing it, is locked. I have reported this to Support as a bug.
My proposal: a table-level wrap toggle.
- Collapse all: every row returns to compact height.
- Expand all: every row shows its full content.
- Column-level settings stay as they are, for fine control. The table-level toggle sits above them.
- The chosen state persists after reopening the board, and is respected when the table is locked.
This would make large tables much faster to read and keep in order.
