Tab groups

I agree here.  Currently have 30+ tabs open. Need to rely on first letter and tool tip on roll over to read titles.

I work with multiple clients at the same time and typically have up to 5 boards open per client. I regularly cannot see the titles as they are compressed to a few characters. this means I often have to click through multiple boards to find the right one as I find that the tooltip rollover can be quite slow.

Alternatively it would be good to be able to have multiple instances of Miro with different sets in different windows in order to avoid sharing the wrong board. Currently I have to do this by only sharing Web Views in a browser. Or when this isn’t possible, shutting down open tabs to the set needed.

It feels like the UI designers don’t appreciate that some of us use Miro for almost every interaction, as an internal ideas tool, as well as for open access information gathering, each of which needs a different approach to display and protection. 

With a large software team, and the reality of performance issues as board size increases, my team has a very large number of boards in active use (product roadmaps, user flows, system integrations, network designs, sprint retrospectives, database schemas, user interface mockups, etc.).

Personally, I’m typically around 20 boards open at a given time, stretching my Miro app as wide as possible to be able to read tab names.  I often click through multiple boards until finding the one I need.  While frustrating, it is still faster than returning to the Boards tab and searching through a massive list of boards used by just one team.

Interestingly, in my browser, I currently have 300 open tabs but have no trouble finding what I need easily as I use both tab groups to collect pages around specific tasks or duties, along with vertical tabs to make reading titles significantly easier.

I agree, tabs and tab groups inside a miro board is a much needed feature ))

Vote from here as well, H=Same reasons, each department has a bunch of tabs and I end up using a browser instead of the client just so I can group things.

This was 1 year ago and it has not improved in the Miro desktop app. I made a support ticket that just pointed me to create an idea here. I then searched and found multiple others mentioning the same problems. It does not seem like problems/ideas are getting grouped so many votes are scattered that could indeed be for the same root problem..

I suggest at adding vertical tabs like it is possible in the Edge browser - then at least it is possible to read the titles of each tab.
Grouping and some other organization features would also be welcome.
