I've recently started working with an AI assistant connected to my boards through the Miro MCP connector, and it saves me a lot of time creating materials.
The problem:
The connector can READ text highlight. If I highlight words manually with the marker tool, the AI sees it as background-color in the text. But it can't WRITE it. When text is created or updated through the connector, the background colour is removed. Only bold, italic, underline and strikethrough are kept.
Why it matters:
I use this tool every single day to bring some information to my clients’ attention and I still have to add every highlight by hand. In a long text that's dozens of clicks.
