Sometimes you like to call out text within a card using simple formatting like underline, bold, colours.

@Tim Mair - While not obvious due to the lack of a context menu with formatting controls, you can use keyboard shortcuts to bold, italicize, and underline text - Ctrl+B/I/U - I can’t say if Cmd works too because I don’t have a Mac. You can also create lists by starting with either an asterisk+space or a number+period.
By the way, do upvote your own post as it doesn’t automatically happen.
@Tim Mair@Robert Johnson Works on Mac too!

Thanks for this. I now realize that all my text was in the Title area. In the body the formatting can be done. Unfortunately the body text doesn’t show in the card on the board.
@Tim Mair - A (sometimes) useful tip: Zoom waaaaay in on the card and it should show some of the body text.
